He shall set up an ensign
Jesus is the whole,
The ensign points to the reality

The Father's house
In the creation of Adam and Eve we have the family in heaven revealed. For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that we are without excuse, Romans 1:20. Adam and Eve were placed in the garden on probation to see if their allegiances would be with God, and as we all know because of sin they fell heir to death. The wages of sin is death, death came not only to them but to all of their seed.

Here we have the two triangles; one represents the family in Heaven or the Father's House while the other one represents the family on Earth or Adam's house. The problem being that because of sin the two remain separated. The thing that we are interested in is the work of the one who brings life to them, or who will unite heaven with earth again. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ all are made alive. 1 Corinthians 15:22. With the sin of Adam and Eve the Son in Heaven said that He would do the work of the first Adam. And God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it; and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. Genesis 1: 28.
Christ being the Son of God is Spirit, and the Holy Spirit in Heaven, the mother image, brought a bit of Spirit (the Son), and placed it in Mary. This is important, because Christ is the container of the seed of the woman. Because Christ is the container, He also has the title of the seed of the woman. We are told that it was very painful for the Son of God to become nothing to be born of woman. Like Adam was formed in the dust of the earth so the son of God was formed in the earth (Mary), for man is nothing more than earth without God's Spirit.

Christ being the Son of God is Spirit, and being born of woman is flesh. This places the Son of God in the heavenly triangle across from the father in the earthly triangle. Because Isaiah 9:6, makes the messiah the everlasting Father, the second Adam is the Father in both of the triangles. Now the woman being of man is also Spirit and flesh, so the woman in the earthly triangle is across from the Spirit in the Heavenly triangle. ...the woman is the glory of the man. For the man is not of the woman; but the woman of the man. 1 Corinthians 11:7- 8.
Because the father and the mother are both Spirit and flesh so is their harvest, this part of the triangle finishes the star, this star is All Jesus. Remember the wise followed the star.

Now that we have a star we want to turn it into a flower, and the way we do this is to put an oblong circle around the Spirit and flesh of each of the Father, the Mother and the harvest points of the star. These oblong circles contain the three Angels flying in the midst of heaven in the repeat, or during the Loud Cry. The three Angels in their first phase apply during the learning time, of what the Son, Christ does for the salvation of the world. So by only putting an oblong circle around the Spirit and flesh of each of the members of Jesus' family in the star, we bring into view the flower.

Because there are two covenants, two advents, two Laws, (one broken and one unbroken), two Jerusalems, and a dual promise in Genesis 3:15, etc, there are two circles; the first or outer circle contains the inner circle, or the seed of the woman. The circle, being it has no beginning or end, it represents the promises of God, and the two covenants. Since Jesus is all, so the flower as His representative contains the seed, life.

To understand this flower we need to know that Jesus, the second Adam, not only like Adam was divided male and female, but took His helpmeet to Heaven, to His Father's house. This is what Jesus was saying when He said, I go to prepare a place for you, and also, John in Revelation 12:1 said, And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars: In preparing a place the second Adam must finish the work that was given to Adam. If you remember when Abraham sent and got a wife for Isaac, she was taken to the tent of his mother or to the tent where Abraham fathered his son, his father's house. Read Genesis 24.
Like Adam's harvest showed his unrighteousness, and passed on to his brother the bondage of death, so the harvest of the second Adam will show His Father's righteousness, and pass on to His brothers, the born again believers, LIFE eternal. For as in Adam all die even so in Christ shall all be made alive. 1 Corinthians 15:22.
This flower also shows the two Jerusalems, the old Jerusalem is where the Covenant was ratified (set in motion), and the opening, or the rending of the veil took place. The promise to Abraham of a city (the Father's house where the Harvest takes His bride) is the New Jerusalem which John saw coming down from heaven. In this part of the flower we have twelve equilateral triangles, or the twelve foundations. And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb. Revelation 21:14. So you see that Jesus not only joined God with man but He also unites Heaven with earth. This is the answer to the prayer Jesus taught His disciples to pray. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in Heaven. Matthew 6:10
Not knowing of the harvest, our understanding of the Marriage supper of the Lamb has been placed in the wrong time of the plan of salvation. The marriage of Jesus took place in heaven, the Father's house, with the Crowning on the day of Pentecost; the time of this celebration was so great, that we are told that the celebration spilt over and came down to Earth and filled the Disciples with the cloven tongues of fire, showing the joining that took place in heaven.
The Marriage supper of the Lamb, in our day, is after the harvest grows up. Behold the man whose name is the Branch; and he shall grow up out of his place, and he shall build the temple of the Lord; Even he shall build the temple of the Lord; and he shall bear the glory, and shall sit and rule upon his throne; and the counsel of peace shall be between them both. Zechariah 6:12-13.
And he shall bear the glory is the same as the woman is the glory of the man. For the man is not of the woman; but the woman of the man. 1 Corinthians 11:7-8.
John says, And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the lamb are the temple of it. Revelation 21:22. From this verse we see that the temple is not a building, and because this lamb is the righteous harvest, the harvest fulfilling God's plan for Adam before sin. So the Marriage Supper of the Lamb is taking to the father's house the bride, the Lamb's wife.
In Isaiah 11:1, we find depicted the male side of the plan of salvation. Verse 2, reveals the feminine side. Here again we have the star, but in this star the male side is in one triangle and the feminine members of the families are in the other triangle.

In Revelation 18:1 it says, And after these things I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was lightened with HIS glory. The HIS in this verse not only belongs to Christ, but it belongs to the whole Family, because the whole Family has been working as a unit: - one God, one name, and one salvation. For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son that whosoever believeth on him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16. You can see that from this verse there is an application for the Father in Heaven that gave His Son to become both Spirit and flesh, Jesus Christ, and Jesus who gives His Son, the righteous harvest. This is what Jesus meant when He said ...Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink His blood ye have no life in you. John 6:53.
Jesus again said, For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord's body. For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep. 1 Corinthians 11:29-30.
Not discerning the Lord's body. Like Adam when he was created, his body contained his helpmeet and his seed, so Jesus' body also contained His, helpmeet, (another comforter), and His seed. ...and he shall see his seed... Isaiah 53:10-11.
Thus all Israel will be saved
The Root and the Branch
The eternal Covenant entered into by God and His people at Mount Sinai is Judaism. This covenant with His people pointed to and promised that he would send the suffering servant, Christ, The Messiah. This sacrificial period points to not only the first coming but to the second coming also. The Root, (the Lamb of God) is Judaism but roots without the growth above the ground cannot bring forth fruit, so if we are looking for a harvest, there has to be the Branch for the fruit to grow on. But some will say, Christ is the vine we are the branches, this is true if we put it in its right perspective.
And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. Romans 8:17.
This tells us that we are heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ. This is Christ the Branch, not Christ the Root, for the Branch comes from the Root not the Root from the Branch. Jesus said, Whosoever shall receive this child in my name receiveth me: and whosoever shall receive me receiveth him that sent me: Luke 9:48.
Christ, the sum of Judaism, brought to an end this sacrificial period, and announced the Second Coming, the Branch, The Child in His name (Matthew 5:19, Luke 9:48). Isaiah tells of this child, (Isaiah11:6) and it comes from his roots (Isaiah 11:1). This Branch comes from the root, and the same blood that is in the root feeds the Branch. Adam, formed of the dust of the ground is the root of the family of, or the family in sin with Eve the mother of all people. Because there was no seed of a man in Mary, the mother of Jesus, Jesus is the root of the righteous, and all who are born into His Family, born of the Spirit, the mother of the living, are righteous. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. 1 Corinthians 15:22.
Because Christ is the sum of Judaism and the sacrifices pointed to the reality (Hebrews 10:10, The Lamb of God), so the times in the Law also point to the reality. Jesus was born at the appointed time according to the Law. Jesus, when He began to be thirty (Luke 3:23), or on his birthday, was baptized and led of the Spirit into the wilderness for forty days. His baptism was during the Feast of Tabernacles, on the morrow after the Sabbath is the Wave sheaf, the next forty days Jesus spent in the wilderness and when He came out of the wilderness, He turned the water to wine, this took place on the winter Feast of Pentecost, or the Feast of dedication (John 10:22) These times match the Feast of Passover. From Jesus, being taken in the Garden till the resurrection, or the wave sheaf, is three days and three nights. Because, Adam was made from the dust of the ground, the wicked men that took Jesus in the garden are dust (wicked men = dust, or the heart of the earth), part of that time period Jesus, was in the heart of the earth, Jesus, spent with them (the wicked), then He was able to rest in the tomb on the Sabbath day. The forty days after the resurrection matches the forty days Jesus spent in the wilderness, then the ten days the disciples waited in the upper room matches the time till the first miracle. These forty days match the forty days that the woman (Mary) is unclean after the man child is born. Then Jesus was taken to the Temple at the Feast of Dedication, which matches the time the disciples waited till the out pouring of the Spirit. These are only some of the Feasts that match each other, for you see that each half of the yearly Feasts match the other half of the yearly Feasts, for both halves are harvest times. Jesus is the first righteous harvest in the fall, and first fruits of them that sleep (1 Corinthians 15:20), in the spring and now it is time for the first of the righteous harvest. First = root, first of = branch. Jesus was born at harvest time and arose from the grave at harvest time.

The time came, after 1844, that the Sabbath was added to the reformation, the keeping of the Law. At this time some of the Christian world said, If you keep the Jewish Sabbath then you must also keep the rest of that system, all of God's feasts. But at that time the other Feasts were not added.
I know that, whatsoever God doeth, it shall be for ever: nothing can be put to it, nor any thing taken from it: and God doeth it, that men should fear before him. That which hath been is now; and that which is to be hath already been; and God requireth that which is past. Ecclesiastes 3:14-15.
The reformation is only a means to bring the people of God step by step back to His will, the law, His character. Jacob's time of trouble, comes because of the slowness of the people learning the Lord's will.
Thy way O God, is in the sanctuary: Who is so great a God as our God? Psalms 77:13.
In the 1930s another message came showing the Feasts as the laws to govern God's Kingdom; and that there would be a Kingdom here on Earth at the time of the harvest. The Stone of Daniel 2 is this Kingdom, and Jesus said to pray for this Kingdom. This is why in Isaiah 66:23, it says that we will worship the Lord on the New Moons and on the Sabbaths. The law of the New Moons and the yearly Sabbaths govern the sanctuary. Our High Priest, Jesus, in the heavenly sanctuary does His work according to the laws that He gave His people in the wilderness. In the coming out of Egypt, Moses was told to teach, put the Law in their mouth (Deuteronomy 4:5, 31:19). When the Lord brings His people out the second time (Isaiah 11:11) He has promised to put the Law in the inward most parts (Hebrews 8:10).
In Hebrews 4, it says that Israel entered into the Land but did not enter into their rest. The Lord said that He would set His hand again the second time. (Isaiah 11:11). At this time the people will enter into their rest, for God worked six days and rested on the seventh day. God said, a thousand years is as a day unto the Lord, so his people work six thousand years and rest on the seventh thousand. People work for wages, For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 6:23.
The Bible says that the wise followed the star. In Proverbs 13:14, the Bible says, The law of the wise is a fountain of life, to depart from the snares of death. I don't know about you but I want to be among the wise.
Without the understanding of the Feast Laws we have no understanding of the Jubilee and what benefits it has for God's people. The Jubilee is a gift of God that comes through His Law. This Gift frees the slave, slave of sin and death, from the bondage that has bound men from the time of the fall.
And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years, Revelations 20:1-2.
Truly this will be rest to not have the tempter to keep reminding us that we are not worthy to have so much done for us.
I have been told that every prophetic message has a prophetic time period. The time period is the jubilee, and the message is that Jesus, the Second Adam with His helpmeet, have their harvest. Even though Daniel prophesied that the man of sin would think to change times in the laws (Daniel 7:25), and the time of the Jubilee is lost, this does not keep God from keeping His end of His promise. This is why Jesus could say, But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. Matthew 24:36.
Because, this harvest is righteous, God again is going to have a righteous place for His harvest to grow in. Isaiah 11:6, says, a little child shall lead them. This child, the Branch according to Isaiah is taught of the spirit.
And the spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord; And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the Lord: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears: But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: and he shall smite the earth with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked. Isaiah 11:2-4. Here we see that this child is not only taught of the Spirit, but His father, (the Rod), gives Him authority and His mother, (the breath), brings upon the wicked the judgment they agree upon. Remember Jesus said, For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son: And hath given him authority to execute judgment ALSO, because he is the Son of man. John 5:22-27.
Can you see that this is the time and the place the nations come and say, And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem. And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more. Isaiah 2:3-4.
Booths
When the Lord brought Israel out of Egypt He gave to them His Laws, at Sinai, and had Moses write the Laws of salvation. And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles. And it shall be, that whoso will not come up of all the families of the earth unto Jerusalem to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, even upon them shall be no rain. And if the family of Egypt go not up, and come not, that have no rain; there shall be the plague wherewith the Lord will smite the heathen that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles. This shall be the punishment of Egypt, and the punishment of all the nations that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles. Zechariah 14: 16-19.
Rain we know has at least two applications, rain that waters the earth, and doctrine. My doctrine shall drop as the rain, my speech shall distil as the dew, as the small rain upon the tender herb, and as the showers upon the grass: Deuteronomy. 32:2.
Isaiah tells us the Lord is going to set his hand again the second time, Isaiah 11:11. Ezekiel in talking about the time the Lord brings the people, from where they have been scattered, says, And I will cause you to pass under the rod, and I will bring you into the bond of the covenant: And I will purge out from among you the rebels, and them that transgress against me: I will bring them forth out of the country where they sojourn, and they shall not enter into the land of Israel: and ye shall know that I am the Lord. As for you, O house of Israel, thus saith the Lord God; Go ye, serve ye every one his idols, and hereafter also, if ye will not hearken unto me: but pollute ye my holy name no more with your gifts, and with your idols. For in mine holy mountain, in the mountain of the height of Israel, saith the Lord God, there shall all the house of Israel, all of them in the land, serve me: there will I accept them, and there will I require your offerings, and the first fruits of your oblations, with all your holy things. I will accept you with your sweet savour, when I bring you out from the people, and gather you out of the countries wherein ye have been scattered; and I will be sanctified in you before the heathen. And ye shall know that I am the Lord, when I shall bring you into the land of Israel, into the country for the which I lifted up mine hand to give it to your fathers. Ezekiel 20:37-42.
Moses said, I have taught you statutes and judgments, so when you come into the land you can do as the Lord has commanded. Daniel in talking about the time the Lord gathers the people says, ...and the time came that the saints possessed the kingdom. Jesus said, pray for the kingdom to come.
Behold, I have taught you statutes and judgments, even as the Lord my God commanded me, that ye should do so in the land whither ye go to possess it. Keep therefore and do them; for this is your wisdom and your understanding in the sight of the nations, which shall hear all these statutes, and say, Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people. For what nation is there so great, who hath God so nigh unto them, as the Lord our God is in all things that we call upon him for? Deuteronomy 4:5-6.
One author in the twentieth century said, Well would it be for the people of God at the present time to have a Feast of Tabernacles,-a joyous commemoration of the blessings of God to them, P.P. 540.
The Feast of booths, or Tabernacles, was so important that when Jesus was born He was born into a temporary dwelling place, a stable. God's plan was for His creation, man, to live in a place of glory, or a place where there is no sin. So, for six thousand years man has been in a place of, temporary dwelling, and a temporary body. So the plan of salvation is given in, or through His Law, the Law of when salvation would come, the Law of how salvation would come, and the Law of remembering by whom and when salvation came to man. Bringing Israel out of Egypt is a picture, or a type, of how the Lord will deliver His people. This is why the Bible says over and over ...it shall be a statue for ever throughout your generations in all your dwellings. Leviticus 23.
Jubilee
Paul tells us, there is none righteous. There is none righteous, no, not one; Romans 3:10.
For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous. Romans 5:19.
When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn. Proverbs 29:2. The people rejoice when the walls come down, not when the walls are built. In the Lords Prayer Jesus said, to pray for the Kingdom, and to pray for thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. Isaiah tells us, To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them. Isaiah 8:20.
Daniel is in agreement with what Jesus told His disciples to pray for when He told them to pray for the kingdom to come. ...and the time came that the saints (righteous ones), possessed the kingdom. Daniel. 7:22.
Here we have the testimony of Solomon, Daniel, Jesus and Paul, telling us that at their appointed times, according to the Law, the Saints will be given the authority of God's kingdom. In order to understand the authority of the saints we must take another look at, at least two of God's laws, the law of the Jubilee (atonement), and the law of the Kinsman.
Atonement
You are also to count off seven Sabbaths of years for yourself, seven times seven years, so that you have the time of the seven Sabbaths of years, namely, forty-nine years. You shall then sound a ram's horn abroad on the tenth day of the seventh month; on the Day of Atonement you shall sound a horn all through your land. You shall thus consecrate the fiftieth year and proclaim a release through the land to all its inhabitants. It shall be a jubilee for you, and each of you shall return to his own property, and each of you shall return to his family. You shall have the fiftieth year as a jubilee; you shall not sow, nor reap its aftergrowth, nor gather in from its untrimmed vines. For it is a jubilee; it shall be holy to you. You shall eat its crops out of the field. On this year of jubilee each of you shall return to his own property. If you make a sale, moreover, to your friend, or buy from your friend's hand, you shall not wrong one another. Corresponding to the number of years after the jubilee, you shall buy from your friend; he is to sell to you according to the number of years of crops. In proportion to the extent of the years you shall increase its price, and in proportion to the fewness of the years, you shall diminish its price; for it is the number of crops he is selling to you. So you shall not wrong one another, but you shall fear your God; for I am the Lord your God. You shall thus observe My statutes, and keep My judgments, so as to carry them out, that you may live securely on the land. Leviticus 25:8-18.
After seven Sabbaths of years, seven times seven years, came that great year of release...throughout all your land. And ye shall hallow the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout all the land unto all the inhabitants thereof: it shall be a jubilee unto you and ye shall return every man unto his family. Leviticus 25:9, 10.
On the tenth day of the seventh month, in the Day of Atonement, the trumpet of the jubilee was sounded. Throughout the land, wherever the Jewish people dwelt, the sound was heard, calling upon all the children of Jacob to welcome the year of release. On the great Day of the Atonement satisfaction was made for the sins of Israel, and with gladness the people would welcome the jubilee.
As in the sabbatical year, the land was not to be sown or reaped, and all that it produced was to be regarded as the rightful property of the poor. Certain classes of Hebrew slaves-all who did not receive their liberty in the sabbatical year-were now set free. But that which especially distinguished the year of jubilee was the reversion of all landed property to the family of the original possessor. By the special direction of God the land had been divided by lot. After the division was made no one was at liberty to trade his estate. Neither was he to sell his land unless poverty compelled him to do so, and then, whenever he or any of his kindred might desire to redeem it, the purchaser must not refuse to sell it; and if unredeemed, it would revert to its first possessor or his heirs in the year of jubilee.
The Lord declared to Israel: The land shall not be sold forever; for the land is mine; for ye are strangers and sojourners with Me. Leviticus 25:23. The people were to be impressed with the fact that it was God's land which they were permitted to possess for a time; that He was the rightful owner, the original proprietor, and that He would have special consideration made for the poor and unfortunate, It was to be impressed upon the minds of all that the poor have as much right to a place in God's world as have the more wealthy.
Such were the provisions made by our merciful Creator, to lessen suffering, to bring some ray of hope, to flash some gleam of sunshine, into the life of the destitute and distressed. P.P. 533-534.
For ye are strangers and sojourners with Me. The reason that they were strangers and sojourners is that Adam had sinned and had no heirs.
By the distribution of the land among the people, God provided for them, as for the dwellers in Eden, the occupation most favorable to development-the care of plants and animals. Ed. 43.
...The fiftieth year while the land rested being a type of the millennium (showing that the land shall keep a Sabbath-rest), a like computation is used. Therefore, at the beginning of the thousand years is the commandment of the jubilee in its anti-type. And as the land was returned to the lawful owners in the typical year of jubilee, just so it will be in the anti-typical-- returned to the saints. Thy people also shall be all righteous; they shall inherit the land forever, the branch of my planting, the work of my hands, that I may be glorified. (Isaiah. 60:21.) 11 S.R. 252.
Then the sovereignty, the dominion, and the greatness of all the kingdoms under the whole heaven will be given to the saints of the Most high One; His kingdom will be an everlasting kingdom, and all the dominions will serve and obey Him. Dan. 7:27.
The land returned
Here we see that the saints will be given the kingdom. This return of the kingdom is not Christ coming for His church as we have understood the second coming, but the authority lost in Eden returned to the heirs of God and joint-heirs with Christ. Does this do away with Christ's coming for His people? No, Paul in Acts says, Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord; And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you: Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began. Acts 3:19-21.
The saints regain their lost authority. It becomes part of the restitution of all things. It does not take away from Jesus' return to take His people home - only shows His love for them all the more. The restitution of all things restores life, and brings about the new birth.
The threshing floor
A history lesson by Moshe Dayan
Saul was succeeded by David, the son of Jesse, the greatest of Israel's kings. His reign brought the nation of Israel to the pinnacle of its military and political power, and the House of David was established as Hebrew royal dynasty. The Bible records ten generations in the genealogy of David, as was customary with monarchic records of the period, and opens with the formal Now these are the generations of Pharez; followed by the begats. Pharez, begat Hezron, And Hezron begat Ram; Then came Amminadab, Nahshon, Salomon, Boaz, Obed, Jesse and David. (Ruth. 4:18-32.)
Several of these ancestors of David entered into or were the products of mixed marriages with Canaanite, Edomite and Moabite women. Pharez, the first of the line, was the son of Judah and grandson of the patriarch Jacob; but his mother was a Canaanite. After Joseph's brothers had sold him to the Midianite merchants, 'Judah went down from his brother's who were in the Hebron region to pasture his sheep in the coastal plain. When he reached the area of Adullam, he saw there a daughter of a Canaanite, whose name was Shuah', and married her, She bore him three sons, Er, Onan, and Shelah. Judah took a Canaanite girl, Tamar, as a bride for his first born, Er. But Er died childless, and so did his brother Onan. Tamar later disguised herself and tricked her father-in law Judah in to sleeping with her. She conceived and bore twins, the first born of whom was Pharez. The descendants of Judah had been 'fruitful and multiplied', and so had their herds and flocks, and they went further and further afield for their pasturage. In the course of their wanderings, members of the tribe of Judah encountered the descendants of Kenaz, the grandson of Esau, who dwelt in the land of Edom, and assimilated them within their tribe. Salmon, the father of Boaz, was the offspring of a Kenazite-Judahite union.
However, the Most detailed account of a member of another nation entering the family of one of David's antecedents is the charming story of Ruth the Moabitess who became the wife of Boaz of Bethlehem, the great-grandfather of King David.
The story of Ruth begins with the chronicle of an Israelite family - Elimelech, his wife Naomi, and their two sons, Mahlon and Chilion, 'Ephrathites of bethlehem-Judah'. With famine in the land, they left for neighbouring Moab. Relations between the countries at the time - the period of the Judges - were reasonably peaceful.
Elimelech and his family had gone to Moab when the territory of Judah was struck by drought but Moab had remained unaffected. This happens today, too.
Like Judah, who in his day went to Adullam and took one of the daughters of the land as a wife for his son, so did Elimelech when he came to Moab. He chose two local girls as wives for his two sons. Their fate was similar to the first two sons of Judah. Mahlon and Chilian, like Er and Onan, died childless. Elimelech died soon after, and his widow, Naomi, together with one of her daughters-in-law, Ruth, left Moab and returned to her people in her home town, Bethlehem in Judah.
The story of the union between Ruth the Moabitess and Boaz is a story of the threshing-floor. It begins with Elimelechs family leaving their withered fields for Moab, and ends where it began, back in Judah, with Ruth gleaning and finding her redeemer among the reapers in the now lush tracts and on the 'heaps of grain'. In the period of the patriarchs, when the Hebrews were nomads, dwelling in tents and tending their sheep, the menfolk would often meet their future wives at the well, where all would come to water their flocks. Now that they were farmers, settled on their own land, the vineyard and grain field at harvest time took the place of the well.
It was assuredly during the sharav, when the air is hot and heavy, drifting in from the desert, that Naomi told her daughter-in law: 'Behold, he [Boaz] winnoweth barley tonight in the threshing floor.' That was the night when Ruth said to Boaz: 'spread therefore thy skirt over thine handmaid; for thou art a near kinsman'; and Boaz replied: 'thou hast shewed more kindness...inasmuch as thou followest not young men, whether poor or rich'. (Ruth 3:9-10) On a normal summer day, the winnowing is done in the afternoon wind. But during the daytime in a sharav there is not even a rustle, and the farmers wait till nightfall. After setting of the sun the air gets cooler, a light breeze springs up, and the winnowers can take up their pitchforks to scatter the threshed grain, and leave it to the breeze to carry away the light chaff while the heavier kernels fall to the ground.
Ruth and Boaz added their own contribution to the pleasantness of the longed-for evening breeze and the sweet aroma of the threshing-floor. Boaz ate and drank 'and his heart was merry', and Ruth anointed herself with fragrant perfume and donned her festive raiment. Her mother-in-law, who knew what might await her, warned her: 'Make not thyself known unto the man, until he shall have done eating and drinking!'
All went as well as Naomi had planned. Ruth did as she had been instructed, and Boaz behaved as was expected of him. He went out to the gate of the city in the morning, saw Elimelech's next of kin and proposed to him in the presence of ten city elders that he do the kinsman's part, redeem a parcel of land, which was our brother Elimelech's and marry Ruth, the young widow of Elimelech's son. (This was known as a levirate marriage, where the closest Kin of a male who died childless married his widow. It accorded with the laws designed to perpetuate the continuity of the family.)
Elimelech's next of kin refused the proposal - just as Onan, the son of Judah, refused to marry Tamar upon the death of his brother Er - fearing it would impair his own inheritance. He told Boaz: 'Redeem thou my right to thyself; for I cannot redeem it.' Boaz thereupon bought from Naomi all that was Elimelech's, and all that was Chilian's and Mahlon's... Moreover Ruth the Moabites, the wife of Mahlon, have I purchased to be my wife, to raise up the name of the dead upon his inheritance, that the name of the dead be not cut off from among his brethren.' (Ruth 4:9, 10)
And the elders of the city and all the people who were present blessed him: 'The Lord make the Woman that is come into thine house like Rachel and like Leah, which two did build the house of Israel.' And they added: 'And let thy house be like the house of Pharez, whom Tamar bare unto Judah.'
So Boaz married Ruth and they had a son named Obed. Obed and Pharez were thus born of foreign women. They entered the list of progenitors of the House of David by virtue of their fathers' obligation to redeem the name of their dead kin, the reluctance of their mothers to remain childless-and their skill in capturing the hearts of their redeemers, Boaz and Judah. Living with the Bible chapter 17 by Moshe Dayan.
Consider the phrase In the course of their wanderings, from this history lesson by Moshe Dayan, and understand that David, not only came through the lineage of both Jacob and Esau but also from the heathen of the land. (Israelite, Edomite, Moabite and Canaanite). We knew that Esau had gotten a blessing the night the Lord came to him in a dream. (PP 98)
Christ also being the descendant of David, has the blood of the heathen and non-religious people in His veins, and thus has the right to save them all. Arise, walk through the land in the length of it and the breadth of it; for I will give it unto thee. Genesis13:17. Here we have a promise of the land being eligible of redemption wherever the land was walked upon.
The law of the kinsman
The work of Jesus, the Second Adam, is illustrated by the historical account contained in the book of Ruth. When Naomi's husband and sons died, the lineage through which the Messiah was to come was broken. Boaz redeemed the inheritance, married Ruth, raised up a son in the lineage of the Messiah. Both the child and the father are needed to repair the breach. And he shall be unto thee a restorer of thy life....There is a son born to Naomi; and they called his name Obed; he is the father of Jesse, the father of David. Ruth. 4:15-17. David, in turn, became a forefather of Christ.
In Proverbs, talking about the Father and Son, the question is asked, What is his name, and what is his son's name? Who hath ascended up unto heaven, or descended? Who hath gathered the wind in his fists? Who hath bound the water in a garment? Who hath established all the ends of the earth? What is his name, and what is his son's name, if thou canst tell? Pr. 30:4.
By losing sight of, or not understanding the work of Jesus, the Second Adam, we have lost sight of the need for Jesus to have a Son to accomplish the will of God for this world. ...the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world. John 6:51.
John 3:16 and 17, have a dual application, talking also about the first Son Jesus, with the main application for Jesus as the everlasting Father, giving His Son. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world thought him might be saved. John 3:16-17.
Ruth, a woman from another country, gave birth to the child who became the restorer of life to the Messiah's lineage. Ruth, becomes a type for another woman in a far country, this woman being the woman in Revelation 12, the woman with child John saw in Heaven.
And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman... Revelation. 12:1.
The story of Ruth and Boaz is a living picture of the work that the Son of God, the near kinsman, second Adam, does for Adam. By doing this work, Jesus causes the book work for Adam, and His seed to read righteous.
For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous. Romans. 5:19.
For in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. 1 Corinthians15:22.
When Adam ate of the forbidden fruit, he and all of his seed, descendants, died.
And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins. Ephesians 2:1.
Because Adam died without an heir, his dominion was usurped by the one who overcame him, the Devil or Satan. But a loving creator, made provision, symbolized by the coats of skin, these skins also show the work of the law of the near kinsman, it's a covering. So Jesus, is a brother to Adam, not of his seed, thus He becomes the repairer of the breach.
...repairer of the breach, the restorer of paths to dwell in. Isaiah. 58:12.
When Jesus presents His Son to His Father, in Adam's name, the righteousness of all three fathers ( God the Father, God the Son and Adam) is established forever. It was Satan's intent to prove that God did not have a Son. The work of Adam that the kinsman does in Adam's name shows the invisible birth of the Son of God in Heaven, by the visible birth of the heir of Adam. The Son of Jesus receives the inheritance of both fathers, like Obed received the inheritance of both, the lineage of Elimelech, Naomi's husband, and Boaz the near kinsman. Thus Adam's seed will sit on the throne with Jesus. (Revelation 3:21). This story of the kinsman-redeemer gives us a better understanding of God's plan for salvation and of the gift of eternal life.
When Abraham, not having an heir, asked God to let his servant be his heir the word of the Lord came unto him, saying, this shall not be thine heir; but he that shall come fourth out of thine own bowels shall be thine heir. Genesis 15:4.
In the story of Ruth, we see that it takes the father and the son to bring life. So God gave His Son, fruit of the righteous. God's Son becomes the father of the righteous harvest, and begets the other Son, fruit of the righteous, two trees in one, the tree of Life.
THE THREE ANGELS
THE EVERLASTING GOSPEL
For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: Romans 1:20.
From this verse it is clear that God (invisible, or Spirit) created man (visible or flesh) in His image, male and female. Creation gives us the picture of the family in heaven. When God gave to Abraham the promise (invisible) of a son (visible) He was showing to us what the visible and the invisible are all about.
Because the Son of God (the Word ) was the one that made the promise to redeem man from sin, the first advent of Christ is the invisible, or the promise, of a container for the seed of the woman and the second advent. I will come again, is the visible part of this promise. The Spirit gave me understanding of this and showed me that the three Angels flying in the midst of heaven have an invisible and visible application. E.G. White tells us that the three Angels' messages will be repeated. The repeating of the three Angels messages is the visible part of this promise; so it will not only be an understanding of who they are, and what their work is, it also tells us that God will live with His people.
And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. Revelation 21:3
But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in MY NAME, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. John 14:26.
And I saw another angel flying in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue and people, Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give Glory to him: for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of water. And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication. Revelation 14:6-8.
Here the cross reference to the everlasting gospel is Matthew 28:19. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the NAME of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Using this cross reference the Bible is telling us that the Father, Son and Holy Ghost have the everlasting gospel.
So the three angels flying in the midst of heaven are the Father, Mother, and Son, in the creation of the world. In the recreation of the world we have the repeat of the three angels. In Jesus family, Jesus is the Father, another comforter, is the Mother, and the righteous harvest is the Son, Christ. The everlasting gospel is the work of creation, and recreation, or the continuation of the creation.
Babylon
The next thing to look at is Babylon is fallen, is fallen. Here we can see that there are two falls, the invisible and the visible. Again, the visible fall will give us an understanding of both falls. The word Babylon has a connotation of evil, or the twisting, or confusion, of the truth. So the first time it fell, or was interrupted, was at the cross, the atonement, the death, burial and resurrection. Jesus said, I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death. Revelation 1:18.
So with the keys, the lock of death was unlocked, never more to be locked. This lock is why Satan didn't want Moses to be raised. Moses' resurrection was a promise, by faith, that the plan of salvation would not fail.
Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said The Lord rebuke thee. Jude 9.
God's character is life, while sin's character is death. So with the promise of Jesus receiving the keys at the first advent, Moses was raised, a type of those raised from the dead at the beginning of the thousand years.
The second fall comes when the atonement is made in the wilderness, when the crown is removed and given to him whose right it is, or the Second Advent. And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the keys of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. And he laid hold on the dragon, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years. Revelation 20:1-2.
From this we see that the first fall, was made with an atonement, and keys. So the second fall also comes with an atonement, and keys. These keys working together give to the saints the life and the land which becomes the second Eden. "The people were to be impressed with the fact that it was God's land which they were permitted to possess".
Atonement
The law of the Atonement demands that there be two Messiahs and two advents. The Sons of God, represented by the two goats, make the necessary atonements.
For the anxious longing of the creation waits eagerly for the revealing of the SONS of God. Romans 8:19 NAS.
My understanding of this text is that one of the Sons of God has been revealed to us and the foremost of these Sons yet to be revealed is the heir; the one who has the same name and who is in His likeness. He is equal in every respect to the one already revealed and is the like, or the one who makes an atonement with him.
Most of the Christian world believe the atonement was finished at the cross however, Leviticus 16 tells us there are two that make an atonement, one that dies (same as tablets that were broken), and one that lives and makes an atonement with him (same as tablets put into Ark).
And he shall take of the congregation of the children of Israel two kids of the goats for a sin offering... And he shall take the two goats, and present them before the Lord at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation. And Aaron shall cast lots upon the two goats; one lot for the Lord, and the other lot for the scapegoat. And Aaron shall bring the goat upon which the Lord's lot fell, and offer him for a sin offering. But the goat, on which the lot fell to be the scapegoat, shall be presented alive before the Lord, to make an atonement with him, and let him go into the wilderness. Leviticus 16:5-10.
And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod (Isaiah. 11:1) of iron: and her child was caught up to God and to his throne. Revelation 12:5. Here we see the anti-type of the goat being presented before the Lord. Letting him go into the wilderness. we read in Revelation ...Behold the tabernacle of God is with man, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. Revelation 21:3.
Again we can see that the goat slain would equate with the tablets that were broken, for only the ones who are equal to the Law can make the atonement for the people. The goat that is presented alive before the Lord would equate with the tablets that were placed in the Ark. And the goat set free in the wilderness would indicate where God is going to set up His kingdom, where the city comes down that was promised to Abraham, a place the woman of Revelation 12, flees to, which the Lord prepares.
And when he hath made an end of reconciling the holy place, and the tabernacle of the congregation, and the altar, he shall bring the live goat: And Aaron shall lay both his hands upon the head of the live goat, and confess over him all the iniquities of the children of Israel, and all their transgressions in all their sins, putting then upon the head of the goat, and shall send him away by the hand of a fit man into the wilderness: And the goat shall bear upon him all their iniquities into a land not inhabited: and he shall let go the goat in the wilderness... For on that day shall the priest make an atonement for you, to cleanse you, that ye may be clean from all your sins before the Lord. Leviticus 16:20-22, 30.
According to the Dictionary the word - Atonement, Day of means - The annual day of humiliation and expiation for the sins of the nation, when the high priest offered sacrifices as an atonement for the sanctuary, the priest, and the people. It was observed on the 10th day of the 7th month by abstinence from daily labor, by a holy convocation, and by fasting. It was the only fast enjoined by the law. It was 'the Feast'. On that day the high priest laid aside his official ornaments, and clad in simple white linen sacrificed a bullock as a sin offering for himself and the priests. Taking a censer of live coals from off the altar, he entered the Holy of Holies and burned incense that the smoke might cover the mercy seat above the law. He then fetched the blood of the slain bullock and sprinkled it on the mercy seat and on the floor. This completed the atonement for the priesthood. He took two goats provided by the nation and cast lots upon them. One he slew as a sin offering for the people, brought its blood within the veil, and sprinkled it as before to make atonement for the Holy of Holies. By similar rites he made atonement for the Holy Place and the altar of burnt offering. He now took the remaining goat, placed his hands on its head, and confessed over it the sins of the people. Typically the sins of the people were 'laid on its head', it was made the sin bearer of the nation, and laden with guilt not its own was sent away into the wilderness; see Azazel. The Westminster Dictionary of the Bible.
Azazel (remove), The word occurs in one passage only Leviticus. 16:8, 10-26. The data for determining its meaning are meager and insufficient. Numerous interpretations have been proposed, but they are conjectures more or less satisfactory. The word has been interpreted both impersonally and personally, as meaning: 1. solitary desert place. 2. The departing goat; the scapegoat. 3. the dismissal. 4. A personal being:(a) some demon of the wilderness.(b) a fallen angel who seduces man to evil. (c) an epithet applied to the devil. The Westminster Dictionary of the Bible.
According to the dictionary here quoted. The data for determining its meaning are meager and insufficient. Numerous interpretations have been proposed, but they are conjectures more or less satisfactory.
The two goats upon which Aaron cast lots represent two sin bearers who are equal to each other. Both goats were qualified to be offered as either offering (atonement). For this reason the choice was made by the casting of lots, to say one goat represents the Lord and the other the devil, we are crediting Satan with being equal to the Son of God. This would make the created equal to the creator. In Acts we read, Neither is there salvation (atonement) in any other for there is none other NAME under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. Acts 4:12.
In Isaiah we read, How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: Isaiah 14:12-13.
If we credit Satan (Lucifer) with being the scapegoat, we are giving him what he wanted from the beginning - to be equal with or above the Son of God. No doubt Satan will suffer for the sins he has caused the human family to commit, but only the Ones equal to the law written on Stones, broken and unbroken, are able to make an atonement for the people. Like Adam, his helpmeet and his seed were in him.
For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive, 1 Corinthians 15:22.
Here we see that Christ, with His helpmeet, makes an atonement, and His seed makes an atonement with Him. This understanding is only a part of the visible that will be seen just before and during the Second Advent of Christ.
The two tables of stone that were given to Moses had the law written on both their sides. Placed together, the writing was with in and with out. (Ezekiel 2:10) Each of the two tables of stone is complete in itself. Yet the two are one showing male and female, Father - Mother Union, first or Second Advent. At the first advent another comforter was promised, and received. At the Second Advent the man whose name is the Branch grows up and builds the Temple, like Eve came from Adam's side so will the Harvest, bring forth the temple, or helpmate from His side, showing Adam's work accomplished. The Lamb escapes.
When the loud cry, It is finished, came from the lips of Christ, the priests were officiating in the temple. It was the hour of the evening sacrifice. The Lamb representing Christ had been brought to be slain. Clothed in his significant and beautiful dress, the priest stood with lifted knife, as did Abraham when he was about to slay his son. With intense interest the people were looking on. But the earth trembles and quakes; for the Lord Himself draws near. With a rending noise the inner veil of the temple is torn from top to bottom by an unseen hand, throwing open to the gaze of the multitude a place once filled with the presence of God. In this place the Shekinah had dwelt. Here God had manifested His Glory above the mercy seat. No one but the high priest ever lifted the veil separating this apartment from the rest of the temple. He entered in once a year to make an atonement for the sins of the people. But lo, this veil is rent in twain. The Most holy place of the earthly sanctuary is no longer sacred.
All is terror and confusion. The priest is about to slay the victim; but the knife drops from his nerveless hand, AND THE LAMB ESCAPES. Type has met anti-type in the death of God's Son. The great sacrifice has been made. The way into the holiest is laid open. A new and living way is prepared for all. No longer need sinful, sorrowing humanity await the coming of the high priest. Henceforth the saviour was to officiate as priest and advocate in the heaven of heavens. It was as if a living voice had spoken to the worshipers; there is now an end to all sacrifices and offerings for sin. The Son of God is come according to His word, Lo, I come (In the volume of the Book it is written of Me,) to do Thy will, O God. By His own blood He entereth in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us. Hebrews. 10:7;9:12. The Desire of Ages, 756, 757.
There are four stories: One: Abraham offered his son, and his hand was stayed. His son escapes, and the ram was slain. Two: Moses broke the first set of stones; the second set was placed into the ark (escapes). Three: Two goats offered for atonement, one goat slain, the other set free (escapes). Four: The Son of God dies (the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world). At the same time, the Lamb representing Christ in the evening sacrifice escapes. These four stories show the two advents; they show that one dies for the atonement, while one lives to make atonement with. One atonement is made at Passover time, in the land; the other atonement is made in the wilderness at Atonement time. Illustrating how the two halves of the Earth match each other. Here we have four stories of the suffering sacrifice, and the conquering king. Christ, the bridge for all people.
Jacob, a type,
Christ, the anti-type
Abraham, through Jacob and his four wives, reaped a harvest that produced the twelve tribes. If Jacob is your father then you are Abraham's seed, and heirs according to his promises. Jacob, was not a king or priest, but God said, And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation. Exodus 19:6. And if ye be Christ's then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise. Galatians 3:29.
Christ came from a lineage of both the Kings, and the Priests, so the main application of this promise is for the heirs of Christ.
And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation. Exodus 19:6. Jacob got a new name. And he (the angel) said unto him, What is thy name? And he said, Jacob, And he said, Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for as a prince hast thou power with God and with men, and hast prevailed. Genesis 32:27-28. So the sons of Jacob were called the Israelites.
Christ too, has war with Angels, Revelation 12:7-9, and also prevails, and also has His name changed; this change, includes the heir's name, too. And the Gentiles shall see thy righteousness, and all kings thy glory: and thou shalt be called by a new name, which the mouth of the Lord shall name. Isaiah 62:2.
Jacob was second born.
And after that came his brother out, and his hand took hold on Esau's heel; and his name was called Jacob: and Isaac was threescore years old when she bare them. Genesis 25:26.
And the Lord said unto her, Two nations are in thy womb, and two manner of people shall be separated from thy bowels; and the one people shall be stronger than the other people; and the elder shall serve the younger. Genesis 25:23.
When Israel came out of Egypt, the angel passed over the first born, showing who should have been the leadership according to the law of the birthright. But at Sinai the tribe that did not worship the calf became the priesthood or the leadership.
Christ was the second born, or the second Adam. So the bruising of the heel applies to Christ, the second fruit, holding the heel to give the first Adam and his seed life. This also shows who will receive the inheritance or the birthright, the one holding the heel.
After they were in the land, David built the city of David, or Jerusalem. Speaking of this same place the woman at the well ...saith unto him, Sir, I perceive that thou art a prophet. Our fathers worshipped in this mountain; and ye say, that in Jerusalem is the place where men ought to worship. Jesus' reply to her was ...Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father. John 4:19-21
The second coming is symbolized by Jacob returning from a far country to his father's house. Before returning home Jacob sent a message to his brother announcing his return. Esau knowing that Jacob was the rightful leader thinks, if I remove Jacob then I will be able to continue to rule my Father's house. Esau, taking an army went to meet Jacob, but on his way an angel, by a dream, told Esau not to harm Jacob.
Not knowing of this message from the Lord, Jacob divides His camp into two groups. It seemed to Jacob, that his prayers were going only as high as his head - when a stranger confronted him. Jacob fearing for his life wrestles with the stranger. At day break, he found out this stranger was not his enemy.
The antitypical Jacob, which we have learned is Christ, returning from a far country sends a message to Esau of his return. When God brought Israel out of Egypt, God sent a message to Pharaoh, Let my people go into the desert three days and worship me. Pharaoh, learning that Joseph's tomb was empty knew they were going to go further than three days journey. The people belong to Pharaoh, and he would like to continue, like Esau, in the leadership. When Pharaoh was drowned in the Red Sea the people were freed of his bondage.
And it shall come to pass in the last day, that the Lord shall set his hand again the second time to recover the remnant of his people...And he shall set up an ensign for the nations, and shall assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth. Isaiah 11:11-12.
Jesus, teaching in parables, has an application both in type and in the antitype.
And he began to speak unto them by parables. A certain man planted a vineyard, and set an hedge about it, and digged a place for the winevat, and built a tower, and let it out to husbandmen, and went into a far country. And at the season he sent to the husbandmen a servant, that he might receive from the husbandmen of the fruit of the vineyard. And they caught him, and beat him, and sent him away empty. And again he sent unto them another servant; and at him they cast stones, and wounded him in the head, and sent him away shamefully handled. And again he sent another; and him they killed, and many others; beating some, and killing some. Having yet therefore one son, his well beloved, he sent him also last unto them, saying, They will reverence my son. But those husbandmen said among themselves, This is the heir; come, let us kill him, and the inheritance shall be ours. And they took him, and killed him, and cast him out of the vineyard. What shall therefore the lord of the vineyard do? he will come and destroy the husbandmen, and will give the vineyard unto others. And have ye not read this scripture; The stone which the builders rejected is become the head of the corner: This was the Lord's doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes? (Mark 12:1-11)
Here we see that the main application has to do with Jesus, the one that went into a far country. The part about the heir we have not fully understood.
When Moses struck the rock and the rock opened up and water came out, we are given a picture of the first advent. Then when Moses was told to speak to the rock, he struck the second rock twice. In Moses striking the rock the second time, we are told, he was making a prophecy of how the church will accept the Second Advent. Most of the churches are looking for Jesus to come and take them out of this mess, not expecting to be given the privilege of reigning with Jesus' heir, His Son. The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ... Romans 8:16-17.
Hosea, in talking about the time of the Second Advent said, Therefore, behold, I will allure her, and bring her into the wilderness, and speak comfortably, unto her. And I will give her her vineyards from thence, and the valley of Achor for a door of hope: and she shall sing there, as in the days of her youth, and as in the day when she came up out of the land of Egypt. Hosea 2:14-15.
What this indicates is that Jesus, the antitypical Jacob, wars with His enemy, and redeems the crown that was usurped by the deceiver. In doing this, He fulfills the prophecy in Genesis 3:15. Concerning the bruising of Satan's head; Jesus yanks off the horn (crown, authority), which leaves Satan's head bruised. (Genesis 3:15) Not only does He bruise Satan's head but chains Satan so that he is confined with a chain of circumstance.
And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. And he laid of hold the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years. Revelation 20:1-2.
And the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people of the most High, whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey him. Daniel 7:27.
When Jacob wrestled with the Angel, his children were not yet all born. The same is true with Christ; at the time of the war of Revelation 12, the harvest of children, joint-heirs, is not yet complete.
In the type, Jacob's children were not all born until after he wrestled with the angel. When the last son was born the mother died, this death was a great loss for Jacob. The loss of the love and praise that Rachel had for Jacob left a void in the home of Jacob. The death of the antitypical Rachel, the sister church, is the death to self, in other words, it is like. Never the less what saith the scripture? Cast out the bondwoman and her son: for the bondwoman and her son shall not be heir with the son of the freewoman. Galatians 4:30.
With this death (death to self), salvation comes to the Christian, and upon giving up the leadership to the free woman and her son, this death brings salvation and deliverance. And the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people of the saints of the most High, whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey him. Daniel 7:27.
And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. Revelation 12:10.
In the antitypical, we see the same power is given to Christ that was given to Jacob. For as a prince hast thou power with God and with men, and hast prevailed. Genesis 32:28. With this power, Christ, not only brings salvation, but all Nations will bow in honor.
...there were great voices in heaven, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever. Revelation 11:15.
The struggle of Jacob brought to him a wound that he carried with him the rest of his life, so the struggle that Christ has with the angel leaves Him wounded. He was wounded for our transgression, he was bruised for our iniquities... Isaiah 53:5.
So what the Lord is trying to get across to us is that the closer we get to the time of the Jubilee, or the second coming, those who have procrastinated in accepting new truth will have much to learn in a very short time, there will be less time to study and accept the truths that have been accruing since 1844. Even in the parable of the ten virgins, five had extra oil, the extra, shows that there is more to be given by the Holy Spirit.
Now back to the two falls of Babylon.
In our time.
On October 22, 1844 (atonement) we observed the end of the 2300 day, year, prophecy. The people had been taught that Jesus was going to come. This coming, they learned later, was the moving of Jesus into the temple. The coming into the temple is the priest's work on the Day of Atonement, or the judgment day. This message became the Great day of Atonement, or the hour of His judgment. With this message we should have been learning what the High Priest, Jesus, does on behalf of the sinner.
Because of our understanding of the three angels messages we have believed the fall of Babylon has to do with the churches not keeping all of God's laws. Thus the first fall has to do with churches. This Great Day of Atonement message becomes a type for the Atonement Jubilee message which is the same as the earth being lightened with His Glory. (Revelation 18)
The second fall in our time,
or summary
This Atonement Jubilee message, will give us a better understanding of how the land returns to the original owner, and the people will receive the change of heart, or the new birth that Jesus told Nicodemus about (John 3:3).
For just then the seventh angel blew his trumpet, and there were loud voices shouting from heaven, The Kingdom of this world now belongs to our Lord, and to his Christ; and he shall reign forever and ever. Revelation 11:15. We have seen from the past that when God does something, people, or nations, either fall into, or out of His grace.
The Atonement Jubilee of the millennium is the antitype of the Atonement Jubilee Fifty Year, and the atonement judgment hour message. This Jubilee not only frees the slaves (of sin), but it also frees the captives of the grave. At the first advent Jesus came forth from the grave with the keys of death and hell. The Second Advent is like Jacob coming home and sending a message to his brother. On the way he (Christ) has war with the angel (Satan, His enemy) removing the crown that Satan usurped from Adam. By removing that crown Christ binds Satan with a chain of circumstance. This war takes place at the beginning of the thousand years, or the Jubilee, whichever way you like to say it. At the time of this war the 144,000, have not all been born yet. Jacob wrestled with the angel before Benjamin was born.
According to this the blood of the elder brother, Esau, is in the tribe of Judah.
The reason this war can take place and the crown can be removed is that at the time of the Jubilee all the land returned to the rightful owner.
When the war takes place and the crown comes off Satan, a chain reaction begins with the crowns coming off all those in authority. Then the Lord will say to the faithful thou hast been faithful over a few things I will make you ruler over many things. Then it is that the saints posses the Kingdom.
If therefore perfection were by the Levitical priesthood, (for under it the people received the Law,) what further need was there that another priest should rise after the order of Melchisedec, and not be called after the order of Aaron? For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the Law. Hebrews 7:12-13.
City
Most of the churches teach only about the mark of the beast, but what about any teaching about the mark of God? And where is it?
The Sabbath is not introduced as a new institution but as having been founded at creation. It is to be remembered and observed as the memorial of the Creator's work. Pointing to God as the Maker of heaven and earth, it distinguishes the true God from all the false gods. All who keep the seventh day signify by this act that they are worshipers of Jehovah. Thus the Sabbath is the sign of man's allegiance to God as long as there are any upon the earth to serve Him. The fourth commandment is the only one of all the ten in which are found both the name and the title of the Lawgiver. It is the only one that shows by whose authority the law is given. Thus it contains the 'SEAL OF GOD', affixed to His law as evidence of its authenticity and binding force. P.P. 307.
In the Sabbath commandment we have the command to remember. This word remember is not just to remember the past, but also to remember the promises that God has made to His people. The Lord spoke unto Moses, saying, Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, concerning the feasts of the Lord, which ye shall proclaim to be holy convocations, even these are my feasts. Lev. 23:1-2. According to Leviticus, the feasts are Sabbaths; the Sabbath is to be remembered. ...It shall be a statute for ever in your generations: Leviticus 23:41.
The question is, are we still of Adam's seed, or has the seed (generation) changed? But you say, I am of Christ. And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise. Galatians 3:29. We all know that Abraham is of Adam's seed, and the promise is made to both Adam, and Abraham.
Leviticus 25:8-18.
The fiftieth year while the land rested being a type of the millennium (showing that the land shall keep a Sabbath-rest), a like computation is used. Therefore, at the beginning of the thousand years is the commandment of the jubilee in its antitype. And as the land was returned to the lawful owners in the typical year of jubilee, just so it will be in the antitypical-- returned to the saints. Thy people also shall be all righteous; they shall inherit the land forever, the branch of my planting, the work of my hands, that I may be glorified. (Isaiah 60:21.) 11 S.R. 252
Here we see that the saints have the mark of God or His seal, for with out this authority, seal, there is no law that will fulfill to them the promises of the inheritance that was promised to their forefathers. With this mark of God the words will be said to them, enter thou into the joy of thy Lord. This entering into comes not because we are good but because of the Law God gave. In giving this law, it set in motion His plan to bring fallen man back into His fellowship. ...Behold, the tabernacle of God is with man, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. Revelation 21:3.
With this mark, the saints will go in and out of the city that was promised to Abraham. For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God. Hebrews 11:10.
The Seventy weeks
The seventy weeks prophecy for the Messiah in our day or the Second Advent, will be calculated in literal time, and commences with the command to restore Jerusalem. This command is the loud voice heard in heaven. This is the anointing; it is the voice of the Father and the Mother announcing the eminent birth of Their Son.
...and there were great voices in heaven, saying, the kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ... Revelation 11:15.
Those who hear these voices will be given understanding (mark) of the vision that has been sealed and also will be given instruction and plans concerning a work they will do during the next sixty nine weeks. For the coming of the son of man will be just like the days of Noah. (Matthew 24:37).
As we do our work and preach, as Noah did, the commission given by Jesus will reach its fulfillment. And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole world for a witness to all nations, and then the end shall come. Matthew 24:13.
The work during the seventy weeks is the preparation for the city, the New Jerusalem. and the streets shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times. Daniel 9:25. Here we see at least two things. First, ...this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole world for a witness to all nations. This witness is something to see and to hear, and second, the streets shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times.
...And there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book. Daniel 12:1.
Saying that the names are written in the book is the same as saying they receive the seal. The time of trouble is when the streets are made ready for the city that comes down out of heaven, the New Jerusalem. The New Jerusalem is the light of the world. It is also the power plant to lighten the homes in the world. Just as Jesus is heaven and earth blended together, (God and Man in one body) so the New Jerusalem represents God and Woman blended together. This is why the city is called the bride the lamb's wife, a place of safety for the children of God who have the mark.
In 1984 the Lord showed me that the streets for the city (New Jerusalem) must be built before the city comes down. ...the streets shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times. Daniel 9:25. I saw these streets being built by people (for a witness) using land-movers and bulldozers and paving equipment. I saw that on each side of the center there were two lanes plus room for bicycles and parking. I was told at that time that the wealth of the gentiles would finance this work. I was given an aerial view of this and was made to understand that the design could be clearly seen.
When God brought Israel out of Egypt and established them as a nation, He spoke audibly from Mt. Sinai. He gave them His character written on stone, and a blueprint of the house they were to build so He could dwell with them. Noah also received a set of plans from the Lord. He preached of the coming flood for one hundred and twenty years, but the real witness was the Ark which he built, thus proving he believed what he was preaching. These are types to be fulfilled in our day.
...Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. Revelation 21:3.
And the woman fled into the wilderness where she hath a place prepared of God. Revelation 12:6. Here we see that the place in the wilderness is the same place as where God dwells with his people, or the city John saw come down from heaven, or the city Abraham looked for, that God built. Hebrews 11:10.
And he shall plant the tabernacles of his palace between the seas in the glorious holy mountain; yet he shall come to his end, and none shall help him. Daniel 11:45.
In Bible prophecy, as I understand, the seas mean people. And the glorious holy mountain is the place in the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God. In Isaiah 2:2 we read And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the Lord's house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it. These are the mountains of safety we are told to flee to in the time that God's laws are being trodden under foot. People believe that we should be preparing to flee to the mountains. This is true, if we know what mountains we are to flee to. This last power establishes his headquarters between the people that have not the mark, and Gods mountain, the New Jerusalem.
In Daniel 11 the Bible tells us about the conflict between the king of the north and the king of the south. This conflict is the same as the one of Revelation 12 and Revelation 20:1-6. In Isaiah14:12-17 we see that Lucifer would like to sit on the throne, of the king of the north. And it, (God), shall brake in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it (the kingdom) shall stand for ever. Daniel 2:44. and the time came that the saints possessed the kingdom. Daniel 7:22.
So what we have is the mark of God being given to the heirs of Christ through the promise to Abraham. These gifts are given on one of the Sabbaths, this is why Isaiah says, And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the Lord. Isaiah 66:23.
On the days of remembrance, they are giving thanks for the salvation they have received. The keeping of these Sabbaths is not only the sign of man's allegiance to God, but they place man in the condition where he may receive from God those blessings that have been promised. Because, the days of the month are not divisible by seven, the days of the New Moon come on different days of the week each month, but this was not true before the flood. At creation of this world it was on the fourth day God made the sun, moon and stars, so the fourth day of creation is the beginning of the month, and was divisible by seven until the flood came. Here again part of the restitution of all things is the returning of the moon into its natural orbit.

The mark of the beast comes because of the establishing of the city, New Jerusalem. The world government is only a counterfeit of the city and God's government that He sets up. In God's city, only those who have the mark go in and out. The learning and living place for the city is talked about in Ezekiel, ...shall be a profane place for the city, for dwelling, and for suburbs: and the city shall be in the midst thereof. Ezekiel 48:15. Profane place a place of initiation or a place of learning.
When I saw the city that came from God which became the mountain, I saw around the city were homes. A stadium with parking was soon built, this stadium was to be the place of praise where the people gathered on the times appointed.
So it is with the world government, only those who have the mark of the beast, in the forehead or in the hand are able to buy and sell. The ones without the mark must go through a learning, or initiation period. The city, or headquarters, is established to be a deterrent to keep the people away from the salvation that God has prepared for them. And he shall plant the tabernacles of his palace between the seas in the glorious holy mountain; yet he shall come to his end, and none shall help him. Daniel 11:43.
The antichrist begins by denying the work of the Son of God. The first work is the work that Jesus has done on the cross. ...My son, God will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering; Genesis 22:8.
The second work is the work of the everlasting Father. Isaiah 9:6. Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son. Whosoever denieth the Son the same hath not the Father: [but] he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also. 1 John 2:22-23. So if we acknowledge Jesus as the Son we also have His Father, and if we acknowledge Jesus as the Father we also have His Son and the work He does in the behalf of salvation.
And said unto them, Whosoever shall receive this child in my name receiveth me: and whosoever shall receive me receiveth him that sent me Luke 9:48.
The antichrist is a minister, most likely, who refuses to accept Jesus harvest or the work of the kinsman, and says that Jesus work on the cross is all there is to the plan of salvation, and leads others in the same theory. This theory will gain power until the ark of the covenant comes out and is placed in the New Jerusalem. At this time, according to what the Spirit has told me the national debt will be paid off. Then it is that the prophecy in Proverbs, of the righteous being in authority, will come into its own. When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice... Proverbs 29:2.
Then shall the children of Judah and the children of Israel be gathered together, and appoint themselves one head, and they shall come up out of the land: for great shall be the day of Jezreel. Hosea 1:11.
Both Daniel and Revelation talk about the leaders of the false city. And he shall plant the tabernacles of his palace between the seas in the glorious holy mountain; yet he shall come to his end, and none shall help him. Daniel 11:45. And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army. And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone. Revelation 19:19-20.
The dragon is bound at the beginning of the thousand years, and the leaders (beast and false prophet) of the city are cast into the lake of fire in, or during, the beginning of the thousand years. With this freedom from temptation the people have a fair chance to see what God's salvation is all about.
The Eating of Meat
When God created man He gave them, fruits, grains and nuts for their diet (meat) (Genesis 1:29). When man sinned, God added herbs to his diet (Genesis 3:18). Then again when the flood came God added flesh to man's diet (Genesis 9:2). We are told that when God added flesh to the diet, it was added for two reasons. 1: It was to make possible the Priesthood. The Priest was to partake of the offering, showing that the Messiah would partake of sin without becoming sin. 2: Man, before the flood had lived for long periods of time, giving man long, or lots of time to do evil, so the second reason to add flesh to the diet was to shorten lives. Even though some have tried to become vegetarians; their life span did not change much, only their health, for God had shortened man's life. To understand what I will talk about next we will reread about the two Messiahs in book form.
A bitter in the belly experience
Jesus, on the road to Emmaus, helped His disciples through one such experience by beginning with the writings of Moses. In our day the same approach must be used, because the whole plan of salvation is portrayed in the story of Moses receiving the law. My understanding is that the tables of stone that were broken represent the Messiah, Jesus, who was broken for us. Jesus said Take, eat: this is my body which is broken for you. In eating the little book, John represents all who accept the name of Jesus. This book, the everlasting gospel, reveals His work, His character, THE LAW. 1 Peter 4:13 says we are partakers of His suffering. This disappointment (in 1844) brought an understanding of the hour of His judgment, all about Jesus, and those who die with the Law, His character, in their mouth, ... that the Lord's Law may be in thy mouth... Exodus 13:9. ...put it (the Law) in their mouth... Deuteronomy 31:19. John says, Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus. And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them. Revelation 14:12-13. Ellen White wrote, All who have died in the faith of the third angel's message come forth from the tomb glorified, to hear God's covenant of peace with those who have kept His Law. G.C. 637. The graves were opened, and those who had died in faith under the third angel's message, keeping the sabbath, come forth from their dusty beads, glorified, to hear the covenant of peace that God was to make with those who had kept His Law. S.R. p. 409.
The Spirit told me, that in this application, the ten virgins in Jesus' parable are those who are awakened, the wise and foolish, to hear His covenant. The ones, who put the oil (law) to work, are those who eat the book of Ezekiel 2, with those who are alive.
It is not my intent to say who has eaten of the little book or who will be wakened, or raised, for that belongs to the person signified by the His in Rev. 14:7. We do know that this has to do with the everlasting gospel. It is my intent to show that the everlasting gospel is an ever learning experience to all who have named the name of Jesus. But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day. Proverbs 4:18.
A Book - sweet as honey
In Ezekiel 2:9 and on through 3:3. And when I looked, behold, an hand was sent unto me; and, lo. a roll of a book was therein; And he spread it before me; and it was written within and without: and there was written therein lamentations, and mourning and woe. Moreover he said unto me, Son of man, eat that thou findest; eat this roll, and go speak unto the house of Israel. So I opened my mouth, and he CAUSED me to eat that roll. And he said unto me, Son of man, cause thy belly to eat, and fill thy bowels with this roll that I gave thee. Then did I eat it; and it was in my mouth as honey for sweetness. Here we find a hand, like the hand that wrote upon the wall. This time the hand is carrying a book. This book is written on both sides, and this writing on both sides is the clue to what is in the book. Let's read Exodus 32:15. And Moses turned, and went down from the mount, and the two tables of the testimony were in his hand: the tables were written on both their sides; on the one side and on the other were they written. Again in Revelation 5:1, we find a book written on both sides. And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals. Here we have two books, and two sets of stones with the same words written on both sides, or is it all the same words? Yes, the Spirit says they are the same words. What this is saying is, that both Stones have the complete Law written on each of the sides, then, when placed together they are written within and without. On the outside we read the book from left to right, on the inside we read the pages from right to left. This again shows the two hemispheres that the two comings take place in, or the location of the old and New Jerusalem.
When Moses came down the mountain with the tables of the Law, he broke them, showing the Messiah that would be broken for the sins of the world. (Exodus 32:19) And the Lord said unto Moses, Hew thee two tables of stone LIKE unto the first: and I will write upon these tables the words that were in the tables, which thou brakest. Exodus 34:1. If the broken set of stones, made by God, represents the Messiah at the first advent, then it follows logically that the second set of stones, hewn by Moses, written by God, and placed in the ark represents the Messiah at the Second Advent.
Ezekiel and Jeremiah both have the same experience, only in a different way. Ezekiel was CAUSED to eat the book. ...that the Lord's Law may be in thy mouth... Exodus 13:9. ...put it (the Law) in their mouth. Deuteronomy 31:19. Jeremiah had the Law written on the heart, ...I will 'PUT' my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; Jeremiah 31:33.
Ezekiel and Revelation both present the Law in the books that were eaten. Ezekiel chapter 9, talks about the marking. Revelation chapter 7, talks about the sealing. Both have the seal of God, for the seal is in the Law. The we of Revelation 7:3 applys to the Messiahs represented by the broken and the unbroken stones having the Law written on them with God's finger. In Exodus13:9 it says ...that the Lord's Law may be in thy mouth... John, in Revelation, ate the book that was sweet in the mouth, and bitter in the belly. The bitterness, is the brokenness, the disappointment and death that comes because of sin. This also shows the judgment of the dead. The passing of the judgment, from the dead to the living is seen when, or with Ezekiel eating the book that was sweet, not only in the mouth but in the belly also. In Jeremiah 31 and Ezekiel 36 we have a picture of the new birth, this birth unites us with the family that brings salvation, or if we fail to receive this birth brings the lamentations, and mourning, and woe, to those who ...denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father... 1 John 2:22-23.
The Spirit, said, that the writing within and without shows Ownership. The saints are given possession in Daniel 7:22. The kingdom is given to the saints of the most High Daniel 7:27. The writing on the Stones and the books eaten are a transcript of God's character. When Ezekiel (or God's helpers), eat and digest the book (His character), they, too become a part of God's family.
Just as Moses cast down the tables of stone, and broke them, so too the Messiah the stones represent has been broken, not only literally but also by the rejection of the people. However, the stones like, the ones that were broken, were placed in the ark, so will the Messiah, the unbroken stones represent, have a place of safety to go into. (Daniel 7:13). When the Son of man goes into the kingdom, a place of safety, so will those who have the same character have a place of safety. (Psalms 91:10).
The First Advent as a Picture
And the Lord said unto Moses, Come up to me into the mount, and be there; and I will give thee tables of stone, and a law, and commandments which I have written; that thou mayest teach them...and Moses was in the mount forty days and forty nights. Exodus 24:12, 18. And the Lord said Moses, Go, get thee down; for thy people, which thou broughtest out of the land of Egypt, have corrupted themselves...as soon as he came nigh unto the camp, that he saw the calf, and the dancing; and Moses' anger waxed hot, and he cast the tables out of his hands, and brake them beneath the mount. Exodus 32:7, 19. The word teach here is the same as the word prophesy in Revelation 10:11. So when it says thou must prophesy again it is telling us that there is another Messiah, one like the Messiah we have learned about. Moses receiving the tables of stones two different times also shows thou must prophesy again.
The Second Advent as a Picture
At that time the Lord said unto me, Hew thee two tables of stone like unto the first, and come up unto me into the mount, and make thee an ark of wood. And I will write on the tables the words that were in the tables which thou brakest, and thou shalt put them in the ark. And I made an ark of shittim wood, and hewed two tables of stone like unto the first, and went up into the mount, having the two tables in mine hand. And he wrote on the tables, according to the first writing, the ten commandments, which the Lord spake unto you in the mount out of the midst of the fire in the day of the assembly: and the Lord gave them to me. Then I turned and came down from the mount, and put the tables in the ark which I had made; and there they be, as the Lord commanded me. Deuteronomy 10:1-5.
And it came to pass, when Moses came down from mount Sinai with the two tables of testimony in Moses' hands, when he came down from the mount, that Moses wist not that the skin of his face shown while he talked with him. And when Aaron and all the children of Israel saw Moses, behold, the skin of his face shown; and they were afraid to come nigh him. Exodus 34:29-30.
What we read was that the writing is the SAME, the same character, the stones are like. Daniel says ...one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him, And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, (a place of security) ... Daniel 7:13-14. Daniel 2:44, says And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, (ark) which shall never be destroyed: The glory on Moses' skin is the same as Revelation 18:1 ...having great power; and the earth was lightened with his glory. Like Israel was afraid, so those who have not the writing of the Law on their hearts will be afraid. Also the forty days is the period of purification for the male, and two times forty is eighty days the purification time for the female. The glory of the man is the woman. 1 Corinthians 11:7-8, ...the man is not of the woman; but the woman of the man. What this is showing is that the Spirit who gives birth to all (the harvest) in the kingdom is Jesus' helpmeet, the Second Eve. Like the first Eve came from Adam; the Second Eve comes from the Second Adam (Christ).
The Ark, according to the dictionary means a refuge or place of security. Jesus said to pray for this kingdom - ark. Covenant means an agreement, usually formal, between two or more persons to do or not to do something specified. For he (Abraham) looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God. Hebrews 11:19. This is also the place God prepares for the Woman of Revelation 12. In the Scriptures, Messiah is also represented as a seed, the seed of the woman, Jesus said that a seed must fall into the ground and die before it can bear fruit (1 Corinthians 15:36). This reproduction is the harvest (heir) then, in His people (joint-heirs), the church. This reproduction is the birth by the Spirit, the Second Eve, the Mother of all living. The five thousand seated around Jesus were receiving food from this table, Jesus the messiah. The writing is the character of God the Father, who gave His only begotten Son. (John 3:16). The stones were broken because of worship of another god who had a far different character. (John 5:43). Moses breaking the tables of stones shows what Jesus meant when He said ...this is my body, which is broken for you. 1 Corinthians 11:24.
Preparing for Translation
Among those who are waiting for the coming of the Lord, meat eating will eventually be done away; flesh will cease to form a part of their diet I cannot think that in the practice of flesh eating we are in harmony with the light which God has been pleased to give us. All who are connected with our health institutions especially should be educating themselves to subsist on fruits, grains, and vegetables. If we move from principle in these things, if we as Christian reformers educate our own taste, and bring our diet to God's plan, then we may exert an influence upon others in this matter, which will be pleasing to God. CD 380
Among those who are waiting for the coming of the Lord, meat eating will eventually be done away. With the understanding of the two messiahs and their different working in the plan of redemption there are two different kinds of food required. During the time of the Messiah that dies, the food to shorten life is given or permitted. During the time of the Messiah that lives the food that extends and enhances life, as in Eden, is what the Lord bestows upon His people. The preparation for the Second Advent was written for His Church in the health reform words from Ellen White, and others. The words will eventually be done away shows that the time will come when the diet will change. This change has more than just the change of the Messiah, but the law being written on the inward parts, that would change the world!
Food for the Wise
Translation according to the Dictionary means a change or conversion to another form or appearance.
In the transition, or the times of restitution of all things God wants to bring man back to the place he was in Eden. But you say what does food have to do with returning to Eden? Man ate something to get out of the Garden, so God has given to His church the understanding of the way to eat to enter into His place of safety.
When the wise and foolish awaken, the foolish say, Give us of your oil and the wise tell them to go and buy. The thing to go and buy is food, oil - light - truth - meat in due season, food. Food (meat) is what the disciples in John 4:8 went to buy. To buy food and to change the diet takes time. When the Foolish got to the door, the door was shut. This door is Jesus that was broken for us, and the reason the door is shut is because the plan of salvation has entered a new phase. This change makes the way to give life, without death, to all who are willing to make a change in their own lives. We know that through Jesus, the door, we have life after death.
Verily, verily, I say unto you, the hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live. For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself; And hath given him authority to execute judgment also, because he is the Son of man. John 5:25-27.
Here we see that the one that went through the grave has life, and gives life, to not only those in the grave, but to His Son also. In John 5:22, Jesus said, For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son. This is the reason for the change; the judgment has passed to another door in the plan of salvation.
The Open and Shut Door
...Then I was shown that the commandments of God and the testimony of Jesus Christ relating to the shut door could not be separated, and that the time for the commandments of God to shine out with all their importance, and for God's people to be tried on the Sabbath truth, was when the door was opened in the most holy place in the heavenly sanctuary, where the ark is, in which are contained the ten commandments. This door was not opened until the mediation of Jesus was finished in the holy place of the sanctuary in 1844. Then Jesus rose up and shut the door of the holy place, and opened the door into the most holy place, and passed within the second veil, where He now stands by the ark, and where the faith of Israel now reaches.
I saw that Jesus had shut the door of the holy place, and no man can open it; and that He had opened the door into the most holy, and that no man can shut it (Rev. 3:7,8), and that since Jesus has opened the door into the most holy place, which contains the ark, the commandments have been shining out to God's people, and they are being tested on the Sabbath question. E.W. 42.
Here we have a type for the Open - Shut Door when Jesus (door) gets finished with the work in the most holy place and He moves on to do another work, that He has to do, then there will be another Open - Shut Door. The commandments that are in the ark are a type. The Stones that the commandments are written upon then become the antitype, for the Stones represent the Door that is to be opened. The Sabbath is a part of the character of the one represented by the stones, so by accepting the one, door, we accept the Sabbath, His character. Sister White said, that Satan went to the shut door and answers the prayers of those who did not move on with the truth that the Lord had sent. (E.W. 56) This is a type for, And he shall plant the tabernacles of his palace between the seas in the glorious holy mountain; yet he shall come to his end, and none shall help him. The reason that he comes to his end is that the angel of Revelation 20 binds him.
As Christians we could only see to the shut door. Not knowing of another door, we taught that probation closed then for all who did not accept the Sabbath. The Sabbath being God's character will be kept throughout eternity in remembrance of both the creation and the redemption. The Sabbath being the time that God rested after His work and the Law of the rest after man's work. How can we deny such love for being willing to wait so long to give us of His rest?
The Door, Jesus, will produce a harvest, this is a harvest of those who sleep in the dust of the earth. Also the Door, the righteous harvest or Jesus' Son, will bring forth a harvest, this harvest is a live harvest and they will be given everlasting life. As we come to this time of Harvest we will change our thinking and also our eating for we can see that God is doing things that we never expected. Did you know that our eating has to do with our thinking?
Thoughts of interest,
God's sacrifice,
(law) foreshadows the reality
For while the law foreshadowed the promised blessings without expressing them in reality, it can never make perfect those who continually approach with the same sacrifices year after year. Else, would they not have ceased bringing their offerings, since the worshipers, cleansed once for all, would no longer have any consciousness of sin? But in those sacrifices there is a reminder of sin year after year; for the blood of bulls and goats is powerless to take away sins. When Christ comes into the world, He therefore says, Sacrifice and offering Thou hast not desired, but a body Thou hast prepared for me. In burnt and sin offerings Thou hast taken no pleasure. Then I said, 'here I come-it is written of me in the roll of the Book-to do thy will, O God.' Hebrews 10:1-7.
Here we see that the sacrifice foreshadowed the reality.
And Isaac spoke unto Abraham his father, and said, My father: and he said, Here am I, my son. And he said, Behold the fire and behold the wood: but where is the lamb for a burnt offering? And Abraham said, My son God will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering: so they went both of them together. And they came to the place which God had told him of; and Abraham built an altar there, and laid the wood in order, and bound Isaac his son, and laid him on the altar upon the wood. And Abraham stretched forth his hand, and took the knife to slay his son. And the angel of the Lord called unto him out of heaven, and said, Abraham, Abraham: and he said, Here am I. And he said, Lay not thine hand upon the lad, neither do thou any thing unto him: for now I know that thou fearest God, seeing thou hast not withheld thy son, thine only son from me. And Abraham lifted up his eyes, and looked, and behold behind him a ram caught in a thicket by his horns: and Abraham went and took the ram, and offered him up for a burnt offering in the stead of his son. And Abraham called the name of the place Jehovah-jireh: as it is said to this day, In the mount of the Lord it shall be seen. Genesis 22:7-14
For while the law foreshadowed the promised blessings without expressing them in reality. God will (did) provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering.
Here we have the foreshadowing of the first advent, the suffering servant, the he goat (ram), the lamb slain from the foundation of the world. Isaac, the promised son, the scapegoat, escaped his fathers knife, foreshadowing the conquering king of the Second Advent. And the place the Lord chooses to establish His Holy name. It was called, In the mount of the Lord.
And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the Lord's house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it.
And they came to the place which God had told him of. Because of God telling Abraham to go to a Mountain to sacrifice, the Mountain became part of the sacrifice, or the law of the promise. At the first advent the mount was Mount Zion and old Jerusalem, and in the Second Advent it will be Mount Zion and New Jerusalem. Do we understand that Mt. Zion is the city of David? Nevertheless David took the strong hold of Zion: the same is the city of David. 2 Samuel 5:7. In the first advent we see the city of David, and in the Second Advent we see the antitypical David or Rod's city. The first city man builds the second city God builds. Abraham becomes a type of God giving His Son, in the first advent and in the Second Advent, and in the place He chooses to magnify His name.
The Son, Isaac, is a sacrifice because his father placed him on the altar. The offering is a sacrifice and so is the Mountain. The Goat pointed to Jesus the reality, but Jesus also was a sacrifice so He also points to the reality, the promised Son. Just as Isaac was a promised Son so the reality that he pointed to is a promised Son.
The Woman and Her Role
Rahab a woman from a far country, at the time the walls came down, gave life to her family. Ruth a woman from a far country gives birth to the heir, under the law of the Kinsman redeemer. Together these women show the work of the woman of Revelation 12. Jesus said you must be born again, this birth of the Holy Spirit, the woman, mother, will save her Family. This family is the beginning of the kingdom of Glory.
Rediscovering Passover
by Joseph Stalling
pg. 285
The opening lines of John's Gospel show how much impact this reading had on the Christian community. In the original Hebrew, the word used here for God is Elohim. Because this word is in the masculine plural, the Christians could see the action of the Holy Trinity in creation. God spoke His Word, and his Word, the Son, went forth, accomplishing the father's will. Then God said, 'Let there be light,' and there was light (Gn 1:3). All things came to be through him, and without him nothing came to be (Jn1:3NAB). The Holy Spirit was also present. She (in Hebrew, the Spirit is Feminine) is to bring to birth the will of the Father in union with the Son. In the second, the verb used to describe the action of the Holy Spirit in creation is m'rachefet (et is the feminine ending), which is the same verb used in Deuteronomy 32:11. (rachef: hovering) to describe the action of eagles in relation to their young. The Father creates through the Son, and the Holy Spirit nurtures that creation into life as a mother eagle guards and nurtures her young. (Although Mr. Stalling was not acquainted with the present truth of the Holy Spirit daughter, his words are still very insightful. Ed.)
The question is,
Do you want Life or Death?
For me and my house we want
Death and Life
Walls
Remember. The Lord wants us to remember. What is it that the Lord wants us to remember? Remember ye the law of Moses my servant, which I commanded unto him in Horeb for all Israel, with the statutes and judgments. Malachi 4:4. Remember the Sabbath. If we go back to the Law of Moses we find the holy convocations are Sabbaths.
To begin we have the Daily, the Daily are Sabbaths. These Sabbaths are the times of worship each day. If we let the Daily represent the first and second advent we have from sin to the cross looking to death. Then looking back to the cross we have death, with looking forward to the promise of life. At the Second Advent we have the death that sin demands with the life God has promised. All of the Sabbaths are feast days, except one, and it is a fast. The Sabbath that is a fast is the Atonement, or the judgment.
Concerning the feasts of the Lord, which ye shall proclaim to be holy convocations, even these are my feasts. Leviticus 23:2.
The feast is a time of, or for a change. The Sabbath is a festival and convocation so the Sabbath is a feast, a time of worship and relaxation.
With the passing of seven Sabbaths, a change comes. This change, fifty days after the wavesheaf, comes twice a year. Every seven years there is a change. This change brought the land a rest. Seven times seven years there comes a change. The anniversary of the seven year cycle of the land resting is the year of Jubilee. At the Jubilee, not only the land was to rest, but the slaves were to be set free, and the land returned to the original owner. So the land and the people both receive the benefit of the change. The fiftieth year, the Jubilee, is a type for the seventh thousand year Jubilee, Which gives the land and the people the benefit. The weekly cycle, A day is as thousand years unto God, is the type for the time. Had there been a change in the Law as some teach, to the first day of the week, there would be another thousand years till the Jubilee. When Israel went into the land, the anniversary of the seven year cycle of the land resting, the year of Jubilee, it was not the time or the antitype of the time God rested, so Israel entered the land but did not enter their rest.
...And God did rest the seventh day from his work. For if Jesus had given them rest, then would he not afterward have spoken of another day. There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God. For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his. Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief. Hebrews 4:4-11.
God has given us a type for the rest, and has promised that He will give to His people that rest, we should be looking for that rest. And because, the wages of sin is death and the millennial Jubilee is a time of rest, this is one of the links in the chain of circumstance that the Devil is bound with. Revelation 20:1-2. Then the domino affect takes the crowns off the leaders that continue to do there own works.
When the Lord brought Israel out of Egypt and the time came to go into the land, there were walls that had to come down. These walls coming down brought a change. It was Time, for the Lord to do something, and time always brings a change. Is it possible "time" is what Remember ye the Law of Moses, is all about?
Isaiah says, that the Lord will the second time recover His people.
And it shall come to pass in that day, that the Lord shall set his hand again the second time to recover the remnant of his people, which shall be left, from Assyria, and from Egypt, and from Pathros, and from Cush, and from Elam, and from Shinar, and from Hamath, and from the islands of the sea. Isaiah 11:11.
How are we to know the times which might be the revelation from God to us? Again Isaiah gives the answer. Isaiah says, what ever has been in the past will happen again so that we might benefit from history, and not following every whim or doctrine.
Produce Your cause, saith the Lord; bring forth your strong reasons, saith the King of Jacob. Let them bring them forth, and show us what shall happen: let them show the former things, what they be, that we may consider them, and know the latter end of them; or declare us things for to come. Isaiah 41:21-22. (Ecclesiastes 1:9; 3:14-15)
When the Lord brought Israel out of Egypt and the time came to go into the promised land, there were walls that had to come down. These walls that came down kept the people in, or out of a city. The walls that came down this past week between east and west Germany kept the people in a nation. The fall of these walls began to make the way for the Lord to become the King over the nations. In Israel's time it was Cities where the walls fell. And in our time it is Nations, the Nations are what the Lord is King over.
...The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever. Revelation 11:15.
After the walls of Jericho came down, Achan hid gold in his tent. Achan's hiding of the gold has a lot to do with the time where we are presently. This time will open a door.
Therefore, behold, I will allure her, and bring her into the wilderness, and speak comfortably unto her. And I will give her vineyards from thence, and the valley of Achor for a door of hope: and she shall sing there, as in the days of her youth, and as in the day when she came up out of the land of Egypt. And it shall be at that day, saith the Lord, that thou shalt call me Ishi (My husband); and shall call me no more Baali (my Lord). For the children of Israel shall abide many days without a king, and without a prince, and without a sacrifice, and without an image, and without an ephod, and without teraphim: Afterward shall the children of Israel return, and seek the Lord their God, and David their king; and shall fear the Lord and his goodness in the latter days. Hosea 2:14-16, 3:4-5.
From this we see that there is a place in the wilderness that becomes a door of hope. Any time there is a hope the hope is usually bigger than the reality, not in this case, the reality God has in store for His people is beyond their broadest expectation.
The walls that come down weekly are connected by God's revelation to us, TIME. At the feast of Jubilee there was a change, and it is God's revelation of Time that helps us understand the change that takes place and what changes need to take place not only in our lives, but also in the world.
The valley of Achor
for a door of hope
The valley of Achor is for a door of hope. We all know that Christ is the door. What is it that the Lord is trying to tell us in this verse? When Israel came out of Egypt, Moses was given copies of the Messiah's character, the broken and the unbroken stones. The sin against the character of God is death, When Achan was revealed so was the character of the Messiah revealed. In the book of the one who dies so does the breaker of His character. This is what happened to the whole family of Achan when he was found out. Two Books, The one bitter, or death, and the one sweet, or life, shows the judgment that is given.
The door of hope
The valley of Achor for a door of hope follows the walls coming down. The door is the Messiah, and the revelation of the antitypical Achan reveals what happens at the messiah's, or the unbroken stones, Second Advent. This revelation is part of what lightens the earth with His glory.
In him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in the darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not John 1:4-5. In Him is the seed, the life is in the seed, the life is, or becomes the harvest; the harvest fills the earth with righteousness.
And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. Romans 8:17.
Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise. For the Father loveth the Son, and sheweth him all things that himself doeth: and he will shew him greater works than these, that ye may marvel. For as the Father raiseth up the dead, and quickeneth them; even so the Son quickeneth whom he will. For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son: That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him. (John 5:19-23).
...Her sins, which are many, are forgiven; for she loved much: but to whom little is forgiven, the same loveth little. Luke 7:47.
Here we see that Jesus said that you are going to marvel at the things that will be done. Compare Mary whose sins were many and loved much, with Achan whose sins also are many. This life (forgiveness), that God gives, is light and light cannot be contained in the darkness. Because this light cannot be contained, and the earth is lightened with his glory, the story of the antitypical Achan, like the story of Achan was told, will be told around the world.
The earth was lightened with his glory. Revelation 18:1.
120
When God brought Israel out of Egypt and established them a nation, He spoke audibly from Mt. Sinai. He gave His law written in stone with His own finger and a blueprint of the house they were to build so he could dwell with them. Noah, too received a set of plans from the Lord, but the real witness was the boat upon which he spent his fortune, thus proving he believed what he preached. These are types to be fulfilled in our day ...Behold the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. Revelation 21:3.
Noah & Moses
Jubilee
The promise, of Matthew 24:36-39, in its fulfillment blended with the promise, of Acts 3:22, in its fulfillment bring the millennial Jubilee. Matthew 24 tells us But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my father only. But as the days of No'e were, so shall the coming of the Son of man be. For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that No'e entered into the ark, And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
For as in the days - the time that Noah spent building the Ark was 120 years - this is not what I see that we need to know. What I see that is important is that God gave to Noah the plans to build a place of safety for His creation.
In Acts we read, For Moses truly said unto the fathers, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me... Acts 3:22.
Moses said, like unto me, Moses was given a set of plans to build a place that God could dwell with His people. Bringing these together we have, the people in a safe place, and God dwelling with them, the Jubilee.
The first fulfillment of the Atonement is when God and man came together in a human body. God and man were united, or at-one-ment with each other, in this body we call Jesus. The next fulfillment of the Atonement is when God comes together with His creation, the Jubilee - A nation is born in a day.
Who hath heard such a thing? who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? or shall a nation be born at once? for as soon as Zion travailed she brought forth her children. Isaiah 66:8.
John, in talking about God living with His people, said it this way, ...Behold the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. Revelation 21:3-4.
We are told that, it was very painful for the Son of God to become nothing to be born of woman, here we have pain in heaven. Mary too had birth pains, these are types for the pains of the birth of the nation. The woman in heaven of Revelation 12:2, has pains, these pains allow the stretching so the child can be born. In Jeremiah 30:4-9, there are men with birth pains, these pains allow the stretching of the mind, and together bring the Nation of God, a nation born in a day. So Jesus, the Son of God, begets a harvest, and also He brings forth a harvest. The harvest that He begets is the heir, Christ, the child in HIS name (Matthew 18:5); the one that we, sons of God, are joint-heirs with.
In John 1:5 it says, In Him is life. In Romans 8:2, it says For the law of the Spirit of life IN CHRIST JESUS hath made me free from the law of sin and death. So the law, seed that is in Christ, not only is life but it gives life, for it is the law (unbroken stones) that is placed in the ark, the place of safety and the time of the place of safety is the Jubilee.
