The Son of God and the Son of man

Father and Son working together

January 2009

The term In the beginning found in the verse In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. Genesis 1:1 does not purport to take us back to the very beginning of everything, but rather marks a specific point in time; the beginning regarding this world as it was being prepared to be the dominion of Adam.  Likewise this same term found in the verses In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. John 1:1-3 also does not claim to take us back to the very beginning of everything, but rather is the opening statement in John’s explanation as to the identity of the creator bearing the title God, found in Genesis chapter one verse one, and that this creator is the same divine being who took on humanity and is known to us as Jesus of Nazareth.  The divine being, born of Mary, existed as the Word before the creation of this world.  And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. John 1:14.  This member of the God Family (Jesus the Only Begotten Son of God), held the title the Word because of His position; communicating to all, the thoughts of His Father.

It was at the utterances of the Word that every aspect of creation took place according to the account recorded for us in Genesis.  It was also at the utterances of the Word that the Law was spoken to Israel from Mt. Sinai.  The term Oracle used in the New Testament to describe this same event, comes to us from a Greek word that literally means an utterance of God, also testifies to this fact.  When we add to this the weight of evidence found in the words of Jesus, And the Father himself... Ye have neither heard his voice at any time, nor seen his shape. John 5:37 we know beyond a shadow of a doubt that the one Moses dealt with on Mt Sinai was the Word also known as the Only Begotten Son of God and later known to us as Jesus of Nazareth.

Many are wondering why it is so important that we should know who it was that spoke audibly to the entire camp of Israel, and then later face to face with Moses.  To answer this question I would like to quote from Hebrews.  And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance. For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator. For a testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth. Hebrews 9:15-17

The Word who was present both at creation and at Sinai, came into this world born Jesus of Nazareth, Son of Mary and Joseph for the express purpose of dieing the death of the testator.  Now I ask you, what is the most important document a testator must leave in order for his wishes to be carried out?  That’s right, a will, sometimes referred to as A Last Will and Testament.  If your mind is racing through the Gospels trying to remember where it is written about Jesus recording His will, I can tell you right now it is not there.  According to John in the book of Revelation, Jesus is ...the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world... and as such He would not have accepted the role of testator without being prepared.  His Last Will and Testament was drafted before the foundation of this world was laid and it was afterward delivered to Moses, face to face right there at Mt. Sinai.  Moses then wrote this will in a book and placed it in the sides of the Ark of the Covenant for a witness.  Ellen White puts it this way.  ... Christ, to enforce the will of his Father, became the author of the statutes and precepts given through Moses to the people of God. Christians who extol Christ, but array themselves against the law governing the Jewish church, array Christ against Christ.  RH, May 6, 1875 par. 16.  She also wrote, In like manner, the types which relate to the second advent must be fulfilled at the time pointed out in the symbolic service... GC88 399.

Jesus said, Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. Matthew 5:17-19.

In this text we can tell that the Law Jesus is speaking about is none other than the Law He authored; the Law that governs the Jewish Church.  No one would construe the Law mentioned here in this verse to represent the Ten Commandments because not one of these principles can be separated out from the whole and be referred to as one of the least.  Additionally not a single one of these principles is incomplete; contingent upon a future event to fulfill it and make it whole.  Thus we can conclude that the Law spoken of here is in reality the Last Will and Testament authored by the Word, delivered to His lawyer Moses and witnessed by Israel who could not behold Moses’ face when the signature of the Word was upon it.  Now that we grasp the significance of the Law Jesus is speaking of, we can begin to comprehend the depth of His instruction.  There are many who believe and teach that this Law was fulfilled with the death of the Word, Jesus of Nazareth, and as such is no longer binding.  But, in actuality, it is not until the death of the testator that the will becomes a binding legal document.  Anyone who attempts to receive benefits from this will in a manner outside of the letter of the law will find it to be non-contestable, for not one jot or one tittle can be changed until the will is executed and the legal heir receives His inheritance.

The present truth for our time is a truth that restores to the Law of Moses the dignity and respect it deserves as the Last Will and Testament of our creator.  The light that shown from the face of Moses as he served in the capacity of, lawyer to the Son of God, by recording the will, is a type of the light that will illuminate the faces of the 144,000.  This light is the signature of the Word.  And when it illuminates the faces of the 144,000, it will indicate to all, even the Synagogue of Satan, that they have been retained by the estate of the Son of God to execute the will on behalf of the rightful heir, the Son of man.  For Moses truly said unto the fathers, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear in all things whatsoever he shall say unto you. Acts 3:22.  It is only through the study of the Law of Moses, from this perspective that we can be prepared to live through the events that are about break upon the earth.

It is the ultimate aim - the express purpose of this letter to impress upon you the importance of completely reassessing your views and attitude concerning the Law of Moses.  Inspiration has told us we will be informed in time to bring our beliefs into line with the truth.  This letter provides you an opportunity to make these adjustments.  Jesus explained how false teachings would come upon the earth in the time of the end ...insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. Matthew 24:24.  Our only hope is to be grounded in the Law.  Every facet of the Second Advent must be fulfilled according to the times pointed out in this Law.  Those who do not understand the importance of the Law of Moses will have difficulty distinguishing between the true and the counterfeit.

I would like for us to look at a portion of this Law, especially the part about the two sacrificial goats found in the atonement day sacrifice.  Leviticus chapter 16 is devoted to the Day of Atonement and the offerings that must be offered that day.  From the list of sacrifices we find that there are three that are supplied at the expense of the congregation.  And he shall take of the congregation of the children of Israel two he-goats for a sin-offering, and one ram for a burnt-offering. Leviticus 16:5.  Like I mentioned earlier I will concentrate on the two he-goats.  These two goats were to be hand picked to insure that they were perfect and equal; the same general color, size and value.  And Aaron shall cast lots upon the two goats; one lot for the LORD, and the other lot for the scapegoat. Leviticus 16:8.  The goat, upon which the lot for the Lord fell, represents the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.  This would be Jesus of Nazareth, the one who came and died the death of the testator.  Ellen White writes ...so Christ laid aside His royal robes and garbed Himself with humanity and offered sacrifice, Himself the priest, Himself the victim...{AA 33.3}  By contrast the goat, upon which the lot for the scapegoat fell, represents the heir to the testator’s Last Will and Testament.  And whoso shall receive one such little child in my name receiveth me. Matthew 18:5.  There are many who teach that the scapegoat represents Lucifer.  While there is truth in this thought, we will discuss this later under the heading The Scapegoat.  It is important to remember that the two goats are equal; in this case the equality comes from the fact that in both cases the Father has given to His Son to have life within himself.  For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself; And hath given him authority to execute judgment also, because he is the Son of man. John 5:26-27.

The truth that I wish to impress upon you today is that the Father and Son in the above verse is not God the Father and His Son the Word.  At the First Advent, Jesus the Word came to reveal to us His heavenly Father, and in doing so showed us a Father/Son team, partnered together in the work of bringing salvation to man.  This partnership stands as a type for the Second Advent.  The present truth for our time is the revelation concerning Jesus of Nazareth in His role as testator with His righteous harvest coming on the scene (Second Advent) to receive the will.  Years before Jesus’ birth Isaiah told us that He was coming and that He would have a child.  For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Isaiah 9:6.  The whole Bible is a revelation of these two Messiahs.  Going back to John 5:27 we find the words And hath given him authority to execute judgment also, because he is the Son of man.  The word also indicates there is someone else executing judgment.  But we must make certain we understand who it is that judges.  For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son: John 5:22.  During the judgment of the dead, it is Jesus of Nazareth, the Son in the Father/Son team of the First Advent who judges.  This Son is represented by the goat that makes atonement in death.  When the Son of man comes on the scene, the Son who will elevate Jesus to the position of everlasting Father, the Son represented by the goat that makes atonement in life, He will be given authority to execute judgment also.  The Son who dies judges the dead while the Son who lives judges the living.  The judgment of the dead will not stop abruptly at the beginning of the judgment of the living.  The judgment of the dead must still continue running consecutively with the judgment of the living for a time, thus the wording also.  Another example of this close working relationship between Father and Son is found at the end of this chapter in Leviticus dedicated to the atonement day.  And the priest, whom he shall anoint, and whom he shall consecrate to minister in the priest’s office in his father’s stead, shall make the atonement, and shall put on the linen clothes, even the holy garments: And he shall make an atonement for the holy sanctuary, and he shall make an atonement for the tabernacle of the congregation, and for the altar, and he shall make an atonement for the priests, and for all the people of the congregation. And this shall be an everlasting statute unto you, to make an atonement for the children of Israel for all their sins once a year. And he did as the LORD commanded Moses. Leviticus 16:32-34.

After Adam and Eve sinned God could not allow them to remain in the garden, their one single rebellious act reaped a profound harvest; the seed for every sin that has ever been committed by man was now contained in Adam’s dna.  With this new natural disposition towards sin, he found himself in captivity to his own fallen nature.  According to the Law two goats are required for a sin offering.  Two atonement sacrifices or two messiahs are required to free him.  The first would come and live among us veiled in a body tarnished by this fallen nature in order to become Adams brother.  After living a sinless life among Adam’s descendants this first messiah would then die the death of the testator, bequeathing to His Son every benefit stemming from His own divine linage and also from the royal linage of His dead brother Adam.  The second messiah will then come and receive all the assets bequeathed to Him.  Then through provisions specified in His Father’s Last Will and Testament, namely the Law of the kinsman redeemer, He can legally call Adam father.  Born with a linage traceable back to our first parents, He will be able to redeem their lost inheritance.  Then through provisions specified in His Father’s will we are allowed to be bound with Him and become joint heirs.  This joint heir-ship provides a means, for all who will accept Him, of becoming reconciled to God without going through the grave.  Accepting the second messiah, the one brought to view in Revelation 14:14, the one like unto the Son of man, coming to receive His kingdom, is what brings about our second birth.

These two messiahs are also written about in the book of Zachariah. Then answered I, and said unto him, What are these two olive trees upon the right side of the candlestick and upon the left side thereof? And I answered again, and said unto him, What be these two olive branches which through the two golden pipes empty the golden oil out of themselves? And he answered me and said, Knowest thou not what these be? And I said, No, my lord. Then said he, These are the two anointed ones, (Sons of Oil) that stand by the Lord of the whole earth. Zechariah 4:11-14.  The oil that is in our lamps today, the oil that feeds the light as it floods into our life when we accept Jesus the Word as our Lord and Savior comes through the pipe from one of these two anointed ones.  Jesus came to show us His Father.  In order for us to glimpse the beautiful, compassionate, loving Father that He has, He must empty Himself out so that through Him we can see and know His Father.  Like the two goats of the atonement day sacrifice the other anointed one must be of equal value or of equal standing as the first.  We can find the answer as to who this is in these two verses.  By faith Abraham, when he was tried, offered up Isaac: and he that had received the promises offered up his only begotten son, Hebrews 11:17.  Who hath ascended up into heaven, or descended? who hath gathered the wind in his fists? who hath bound the waters in a garment? who hath established all the ends of the earth? what is his name, and what is his son’s name, if thou canst tell? Proverbs 30:4.

The other anointed one is of course Jesus’ Son.  And I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud one sat like unto the Son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle. Revelation 14:14.  This is the message of the heir coming to receive His kingdom inheritance.  The message found in the words you are reading today is a preview of the extra oil that will flow from this olive tree, after His birth is announced.  Anyone who wishes to be prepared for the wedding procession must reach out and grasp it, even if they are not sure what to do with it yet.  The five wise virgins have done just that, they have the oil in a separate flask, they have knowledge of it, but it is not the oil feeding the flame that is at present time illuminating their heart.  This oil is held in reserve and not put into the lamps until the voice of the bride and bridegroom is heard, because they are the ones who reveal the times concerning the birth of their Son.  The Bible defines this time in different ways, such as harvest, judgment, salvation etc.

All things are delivered to me of my Father: and no man knoweth who the Son is, but the Father; and who the Father is, but the Son, and he to whom the Son will reveal him. Luke 10:22.  Every father who has had a chance to work with his son knows that when the final product of this father/son team is displayed, everyone who views it will see him in a different light.  It doesn’t matter what size the project. It can be a big project like restoring a classic car or preparing a 4H club animal for show at the fair, or even building the son’s house.  Or it can be a small project like a model airplane or a cardboard box fort.  When the project is finished and the son beaming with pride says “dad helped me”, everyone gets to view a different side of “dad” than they normally see.  The same is true of a negative example.  When father and son team up to commit a crime, after the police finish their job and the two are brought to trial, everyone gets to view a different side of “dad” than they normally see.  We can see this example played out in the Bible.  Adam was the firstborn and as such was to be the priest of the house.  Cain was also a firstborn, as long as these two lived, this priesthood was to be a father/son endeavor.  After Cain smote his brother and Abel lay dead on the ground, the product of this father/son team was ready to be viewed.  Everyone who looked saw “dad” in a new light.  No longer would Adam’s sin in the garden be seen as a minor infraction, Adam’s true character was now revealed to all at the hand of his son.

Not wishing to spend any more time on the negative, let’s get back to our role model.  Jesus, a gift from His Father came to redeem us.  This is a joint effort between Father and son.  Every project that He completes gives us a new view of His Father.  No longer do we see Him as an angry God ready to punish us at every infraction.  Rather we see a longsuffering God who permits us to wrap ourselves in His Son’s righteousness so that we are hidden from the all consuming fire of His presence.  This is the atonement process and is the path to the two births Jesus told us we would need to have to live in His Kingdom.  Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. John 3:5.  We find here two separate births.  The birth by water is the one illustrated to us in the rite of baptism.  Baptism by emersion depicts for us a death, burial and resurrection.  By accepting the sacrifice Jesus made for us either by faith offering a lamb according to the law as it pointed forward to His death or by accepting Him as that lamb, we follow Him through the grave and receive the birth of the Spirit (everlasting life) on the other side.  Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live. John 5:25.  Up until now, (with the exception of Enoch and Elijah) this has been the only path.  But for those of us who are living in the time of the end; there must be a path to receive the birth of the spirit without going through the grave.  This is the role of the second atonement; the Son of man comes to make this second offering which is done live.  No one dare stand without the covering of Jesus to conceal them from the fire of God, this is why we add the extra oil to mingle with the last of the oil that was already there.  At this time we wrap ourselves in the Son of man’s righteousness, adding an additional layer to what we already have on.  As you can see the Son’s ministry does not replace His Father’s ministry, but rather augments it.  Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: (but) he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also. 1 John 2:23.  This is the avenue that has been provided for us to become joint heirs with the Messiah that lives, this is our path to receive the birth of the Spirit without seeing death.

When the extra oil is added, and the lamp is again ready to be used to light our path, we will immediately notice that the light coming from our lamp is different, not only will we notice the difference but everyone else who sees it will also recognize that there is a difference.  The reason the light that is coming from the lamp is different, is because this oil comes from a totally different olive tree and illuminates for us a different Father/Son team.  For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself; And hath given him authority to execute judgment also, because he is the Son of man. John 5:26-27.  Now you can see that when we add the extra oil to out lamps, we do not take off our covering of Jesus’ righteousness, but rather we add on an additional layer of covering.

The Spirit explained to me that these two atonements, the ones made by the two separate Sons of Oil (Olive trees), are birthing blankets, so to speak.  In order to receive both births (Water and Spirit) mentioned by Jesus we must be completely wrapped in the birthing blankets of both atonements.  This requires very little effort on our part.  When these blankets are being passed out, all we have to do is answer yes; everything else will be done for us.  By accepting the atonements made by Jesus as the testator and His Son as the heir, we are completely wrapped in both birthing blankets.  There are many who believe Jesus came and fulfilled the entire Law, and are now awaiting His return to receive the inheritance of His own Last Will and Testament.  This belief has no legal foundation in either present day law or the Law of the Torah.  More importantly this belief does not leave room for the atonement offered by the live sacrifice, thus condemning us to either go through the grave and receive eternal life on the other side, or to perish in the fire of God’s presence.

In the gospel of John we find the statement In him was life; and the life was the light of men. John 1:4.  The life John is speaking of here is the same life John wrote about in chapter five.  For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself.  At the creation of Adam and Eve, the Word signed His masterpiece by clothing them with His light.  This light was their life and when they lost it, they began to die.  Just as the light that radiates from the moon is contingent upon the moon remaining in the S_U_N’s warm glow, so too, the light Adam and Eve wore was contingent on them remaining in the S_O_N’s warm glow.  The rebellious act committed by Adam and Eve tarnished them to the point that they could no longer reflect the light of their creator.  In order for us to live again in harmony with our creator we must regain the light that was lost.  We know for a certainty that this will take place for Daniel prophesied that it would.  And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever. Daniel 12:3.

The provision to reconcile humanity to divinity is only found in the Word’s Last Will and Testament.  Among the pages of the will we find the law of the kinsman redeemer and then to make sure we understand it we see the processes illustrated for us in the story of Ruth.  Ruth produced a child who could redeem the inheritance of one that was dead.  The son Ruth bore represents the Son who will redeem Adam’s lost dominion.   The identity of this Son is found in the story of Abraham.  And, behold, the word of the LORD came unto him, saying, This shall not be thine heir; but he that shall come forth out of thine own bowels shall be thine heir. Genesis 15:4.  The created will never have the same depth of life contained within them as the creator does.  Even though Adam and Eve were created in the image of God, the light they wore was only a reflection of the light streaming from their creator.  Jesus said ...no man knoweth who the Son is, but the Father; and who the Father is, but the Son...  Not one of the created beings has the ability to discern the difference between the source light and the reflected light.  We are all waiting for this difference to be revealed and explained.  For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God. Romans 8:19.

To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne. Revelation 3:21.  In this verse we are allowed to see three distinct individuals, two distinct over comers and two distinct thrones.  Jesus the Only Begotten Son of God overcame, made atonement, and then sat down with His Father on the Father’s throne, the throne from which the universe is run.  In 1844, Jesus came in judgment and sat down on the throne of David.  For there are set thrones of judgment, the thrones of the house of David. Psalms 122:5.  While many anticipated this to be the judgment of the living, this was in actuality the opening of the judgment for the dead.  The prophecy in Daniel that pointed out for us the time when Messiah the Prince would come, also pointed out for us the time when the judgment would begin.  The messiah who came at the First Advent was the testator.  The testator is the one that makes atonement in death; therefore it is the testator that judges the dead.  In 1888, the following was penned ...The Judgment is now passing in the sanctuary above. For more than forty years this work has been in progress. Soon--none know how soon--it will pass to the cases of the living... GC88 490.  Ever since this was written the church has been anticipating the opening of the judgment for the living, but the most important doctrine that we have not understood before is that the living are judged (harvested) by the Son of man whose advent is depicted for us in the message of Revelation fourteen, verse fourteen.  Just as the First Advent took place exactly as the prophetic prophecy of Daniel foretold, so the Second Advent will take place exactly as the prophecy points out, except this time the events will take place in literal time.

The Scapegoat

The doctrine that Jesus can be the heir to His own last will and testament is a false doctrine.  This is the same as teaching that Isaac and the ram caught by His horns represent the same individual.  Believing and teaching this doctrine will bring the same judgment upon you as the judgment Moses received when he smote the second rock instead of speaking to it.  Moses’ actions made no differentiation between the two rocks, (Advents) and this seemingly minute infraction prevented him from entering the Promised Land before death.  Going to the other extreme and teaching that you or I and for that matter your child or my child can be that rightful heir, the child, Jesus will send in His name, also teaches a false doctrine.  Anytime we teach that a created being (one that can only reflect light) can occupy a position that requires one with the light-source within himself, we teach a false doctrine.  This last doctrine is the same one Lucifer taught in Heaven.

According to Ezekiel 28, Lucifer held the position of an anointed cherub that covereth.  He was created perfect for the position he held.  Because of his position of covering cherub, the light that reflected from him was more brilliant than the light from any other angel.  And yet he was not satisfied with the role for which he was created because he aspired to be equal to the Only Begotten Son.  The same self-serving spirit that caused him to covet a position above his standing in Heaven causes him to covet a position above his standing here on earth.  To say that he covets this position does not begin to convey the whole story.  In truth he believes with his whole being that he can be equal with the Only Begotten Son, if only he is given a chance.  And so he aspires to fill the position of the one who makes atonement in life.  By definition, because of the process of casting lots used to determine which will serve in death and which in life, he would thus be able to prove to the universe that he is in actuality equal to Jesus.

At the first atonement Jesus presented Himself before His Father in the Heavenly Sanctuary, Himself the Priest Himself the Victim.  In our minds eye we can see Jesus presenting Himself to His Father; the Only Begotten Son clothed in a human body that has been purged clean of the tarnish of sin so that it can once again reflect the glory of His Father.  But the Father who has piercing eyes is able to see through the covering of flesh and see that there is life and light within.  Jesus stands before His Father as an atonement, one hundred percent God clothed in one hundred percent sinless humanity washed clean in His own blood; the true definition of the word atonement, God and man in one vessel.

Now let’s go over the events of the second atonement.  While these events are yet future, it is time for us to understand what must take place.  First we must understand that the Son of man who is ordained for this role must be born here on earth.  John tells us And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne. Revelation 12:5.  There He also will stand before His Father, Himself the Priest Himself Victim.  Remember this is not a victim who experiences death, for this offering is made in life.  From our vantage point we see the Son of man standing before His Father in a human body that has never been tarnished by sin, a body that is able to reflect the light streaming from His Father.  But the Father with piercing eyes looks past the covering of flesh and beholds life and light within.  The Son of man stands before His Father as the atonement, one hundred percent God clothed in one hundred percent sinless humanity; the true definition of the word atonement, God and man in one vessel.

Zechariah is shown this same scene from a slightly different vantage point.  And he shewed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the LORD, and Satan standing at his right hand to resist him. And the LORD said unto Satan, The LORD rebuke thee, O Satan; even the LORD that hath chosen Jerusalem rebuke thee: is not this a brand plucked out of the fire? Now Joshua was clothed with filthy garments, and stood before the angel. Zechariah 3:1-3.  Through Zechariah’s words we can view the final atonement.  We see the individuals that are represented by the two goats in the atonement sacrifice; each one is one hundred percent God and one hundred percent human, because that is what the term means.  The first one brought to view is the Son of man, Joshua. Next we are shown the angel of the LORD, whom we know to be Christ Himself.  In this scene Joshua is depicted as being clothed with filthy garments.  To understand the true meaning of this phrase we must look at the sacrifice of Isaac.  Even though not one drop of Isaac’s blood was shed, it was his willingness to be sacrificed that was meritorious.  The Son of man is willing to take the sins of the congregation upon Himself, but Lucifer, called Satan in this passage, in a delusion that he has been living ever since his first rebellious thought, is now demanding that these sins are rightfully his.  The implication of his tirade is that he will not have this imposter take his place, bearing the sins of which he is the ultimate author.  He was there when Jesus bore the sins of humanity and to prove there is no difference between himself and the Son of God, he must not let this last opportunity pass.  Satan interrupts the ceremony protesting that the filthy garments worn by Joshua condemn Him to death.  But the angel of the Lord says ...Take away the filthy garments from him. And unto him he said, Behold, I have caused thine iniquity to pass from thee, and I will clothe thee with change of raiment. Zechariah 3:4  When the sins of the congregation are returned to the one who authored them, he will be tarnished so that he can no longer reflect the light streaming from the original source.  As the reflected light fades and there is no light coming from within to replace it, he is left in darkness, a darkness that banishes him forever from standing in the presence of God.  Some will ask why Lucifer is able to reflect the light of God even after he sinned, when the sin of Adam tarnished him and caused him to stop reflecting God’s light.  The answer comes from the fact that while Lucifer and Adam both broke the Ten Commandment law, Adam alone broke a health law.  Humanity continues to break these laws and when the sins of the congregation are placed upon Lucifer, he too will suffer the fate of losing the ability of reflecting the light of his creator.

When we read about the scapegoat, and begin to understand how this offering is actually carried out by two separate individuals, we begin to see how our God, who is able to see from the beginning to the end, knew in advance what Lucifer would do and prepared the pattern to show this chain of events.  The atonement offering must be conducted by someone who has life in himself.  True atonement can only be performed by a member of the God family who has been born into the human family, because that is what the word means.  God and man together in one.  There is no one else living on the earth who meets this criterion.  And I looked, and there was none to help; and I wondered that there was none to uphold: therefore mine own arm brought salvation unto me; and my fury, it upheld me. Isaiah 63:5.  Only Jesus’ own Son, mine own arm, has the qualifications.  The second portion of this offering is carried out by Lucifer the father of sin.  As the father of sin, he believes there is no one better qualified to shoulder the burden that has been removed from the congregation.  As he attempts to bear these sins he finds out the true difference between a Being who has light and life within and a being that only reflects the light and life of the creator.

About Lucifer Isaiah wrote For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High. Isaiah 14:13-14.  By Lucifer making the second portion of the offering depicted by the scapegoat, he fulfills his own words I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north.  Even though Lucifer does not travel to the sanctuary which is in Heaven, but rather is in the courtyard (earth) when the sins are placed upon him, he fulfills these words because, the sanctuary is indeed in the sides of the north and this is indeed where the plan of salvation is completed.  After the sins of the congregation are confessed on Lucifer’s head, he is lead into the wilderness by the hand of a fit man where he is bound.

To understand how important it is for Lucifer to be bound we must read.  For the earnest expectation of the creation waiteth for the revealing of the sons of God. For the creation was subjected to vanity, not of its own will, but by reason of him who subjected it, in hope that the creation itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the liberty of the glory of the children of God. Romans 8:19-21 ASV.  This world and every creature created to inhabit it, was created for Adam to rule.  Adam’s authority to be King and have dominion emanate from the creator who is King over Adam.  Consequently at Adam’s fall, his dominion went into captivity as spoils of war, to a warlord who no longer recognizes the authority of Adam’s King.  Even though the land and the creature went into captivity unwillingly, two things come to light due to this captivity.  The first is that the ground and the vegetation that grows upon it are cursed.  Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee... Genesis 3:18.  The second is that the land, (nature) which has been forced to obey a usurper whose laws are in opposition to the Laws of God, now has iniquity.  ...and I will remove the iniquity of that land in one day. Zechariah 3:9.

The curse and the iniquity are two different things, and must be atoned for separately.  At the First Advent, Jesus of Nazareth came and bore the curse.  And when they had platted a crown of thorns, they put it upon his head, and a reed in his right hand: and they bowed the knee before him, and mocked him, saying, Hail, King of the Jews! Matthew 27:29.  This act of bearing the curse demonstrated that the Heavenly Family has accepted the responsibility for casting Lucifer and his angels into the Earth.  At the Second Advent the Son of man will come and remove the iniquity from the land.  Even though the Son of man is willing to bear this iniquity, the Angel of the Lord says ...Take away the filthy garments from him. And unto him he said, Behold, I have caused thine iniquity to pass from thee, and I will clothe thee with change of raiment. Zechariah 3:4.  The iniquity of the land will be returned to the one who caused it.  The filthy garments Joshua was wearing will then be put on Lucifer; he will then bear this iniquity into the wilderness where he will be bound.  The Law says the wages of sin is death, Satan will die for his own sins and for the iniquity he has caused to come upon this earth and its inhabitants.

The Spirit continues to impress upon me how important it is that I convey in this letter that the light Adam and Eve first wore, was their life.  In him was life; and the life was the light of men. John 1:4.  The Law dictated to Moses contains the provisions by which this light can be returned to humanity.  I invite you to take a new look at this Law and ask yourself, is there any other path to salvation except through Jesus the testator and His Righteous Harvest, the legal heir.  The Son who fulfills the prophecy ...This shall not be thine heir; but he that shall come forth out of thine own bowels shall be thine heir. Genesis 15:4.  Using the story of Abraham as a guide we can see that Lucifer, a servant, can not be the heir.  We also find that you or I can not be this heir either because we are born of the bondwoman (church wife).  The only one left is the one who Isaac depicts, a child born of the freewoman.  This child will be born with light and life within.  The Spirit showed me the cradle where the child lay; I saw that the light filled the cradle from the very bottom up to the very top and spilled over.  I immediately knew that this was Jesus’ Son and that this is the light humanity needs to have eternal life without going through the grave.

Yours in your search for light, and to hear the King say ... Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: Matthew 25:34.
